I found that you do not need both keys.

Having read this thread I decided to try and book an appointment for the update at my local VW garage. I get the impression I would never have been contacted by VW as promised. I have now made an appt for next week. Fingers crossed.

You are just plain wrong. I have friends in Germany, Portugal and France. Of course Brexit is at the root of it. There are no shortages or supply problems in any of the main european countries. In this country there are shortages in nearly every sector, including building supplies and materials in most areas.. Have you been in a supermarket recently?

Did the same this morning, just to try something. De-enrolled the car then reinstalled the app using the qr code on screen in the car. It worked!
