Re: Enabling Travel Assist with OBD11
Look what I managed to get working this evening! 4BEBD17A-4ACD-45A4-A89F-228F478E9BF1.jpeg This is on my lowly life pro - and it works just fine! I’ve heard rumours this might be possible over the last year - but there’s been lots of stuff about it not working because sensors being missing etc… app...

Re: Cracked windscreen no.4
Good shout on the hazy film on the inside. I currently clean mine once a week. I’ll try windolene. Using autoglym is not working.
I’ll wait until the new screen is fitted.
Waiting for my Cupra born next month so will probably suffer the same problems.

Re: Cracked windscreen no.4
Yes I did notice the last windscreen was ultra reflective and glared. Had to upgrade my glasses to anti glare thought it was my eyes at first.

Cracked windscreen no.4
Great! Another cracked windscreen. This will now be my 4th windscreen in 14 months. I’ve never replaced a windscreen in 20 odd years driving !! Are these weak on the ID3? Thinner for weight reduction? 2 started with a stone chip. The other was cracked from bottom and went upwards. Autoglass tried to...

Re: 2.4 update and battery replacement
I have now had my car done. 4 days of problems and crashes. I spoke to 2 dealers including the one I took mine to Swindon inchcape vw. Statistically they have a 20% failure rate on the update based on these two dealers so no it’s not good. I’m an easy going guy and just left the car there for 4 days...

Re: 2.4 update and battery replacement
My car went in on monday for the 2.4 update and battery change, came back tuesday afternoon. When I got in it tuesday evening the software was still showing 2.3 and additionally the sunroof no longer works (the button moves it about 1cm about 8 times then it stops and same in other direction - the ...

Re: Drivers Display colour change
Mine does this ever since I had the screen replaced. At first I thought it was imagination until the mrs saw it one day. I have nothing to record with as I am driving so no evidence.
Can’t be bothered to take it back to the dealer and be without for days again tbh.

Update on mine from Friday. Swindon inchcape. They managed to get it all done all Delivered back to me. They tried all weekend then had a bulletin from VAG Monday which had information on making it work. So all good
Now wait for the new 3.0 update with all the big changes.

Re: 2.4 update and battery replacement
I nearly went for a Born. Thinking logically, wouldn't it be right to assume that whatever the Born's software is, then the ID range is heading for the same. And if the Born's is OK, then eventually the ID's will be OK? Better late than never? Agreed. I haven’t seen anything much good or bad about ...

Re: 2.4 update and battery replacement
Out of interest, what new car have you ordered? I have ordered the cupra born V2 e-boost in that lovely blue. Which is basically an ID3 lol. Was that or the polestar 2. I nearly went for a Born. Thinking logically, wouldn't it be right to assume that whatever the Born's software is, then the ID ran...

Re: 2.4 update and battery replacement
So took my ID3 into dealer to have the battery and 2.4 update done. Friday 22nd July. Inchcape VW Swindon. DEAD. Relay click when accelerating/slowing.
Hi, Does anyone have a loud relay clicking when pulling off and slowing to stop? Sound outside of car. Can only hear when windows open Only noticed it recently I don’t remember it being there a few months ago. Cars going in Wednesday to have driver screen replaced. Dead pixel line across it. Cheers ...
