Re: App Limited Services
I took delivery of my first id.3 on Friday 19th April and after a week still don't even have the app connected to my car. I get an error that says activation is not possible until after the car has been delivered. The salesman failed to get it to work and suggested that I give it 24 hours. Same next...

Re: Digital Instrument Cluster question
Are there any trip counters available? I can't remember the last time I owned a car which didn't have at least 1 trip counter I could reset before a long trip.

Re: Octopus alternative tarrif
Looking at my latest bill it shows how much electricity charged at what tariff and also shows the average price/kWh. Last month it was 7.14 overnight, 28.17 during the day and average for the month 7.34 on 210.8 kWh.

I really like the look of how the fitcamX fits behind the rear view mirror with no cables etc.
I have been using a NextBase camera for a few years now and really like it but having a camera without trailing wires sounds pretty appealing.

Re: Sold my ID3
My daughter has had her id.3 for over a year now, no issues, and I've had lots of opportunity to drive it so am looking forward to receiving my own, with 77kWh battery, later this month.

EV charging using excess solar
When my daughter bought her id.3 she installed a Zappi charger and now that we have had some sunny days she has been using the Eco++ settings on the charger and it automatically uses excess solar power from her panels which power the house, then charge the solar batteries, then the car if it is plug...

Re: Octopus alternative tarrif
I agree tracker looks good too, I think the point I was trying to make is that if you use lots of electric during the day intelligent won't be the cheapest option unless you are doing high mieage and charging daily Thanks for the good idea. As it happens we have solar panels and batteries so use ve...

Re: Did you test drive an ID3 prior to purchase.
Yes I had a test drive. The dealer sat us in an id.3 and told us to drive off and bring it back in 2 or 3 hours. The SOC was only a little over 20% because he said they had charger issues at the dealership so we got to experience range anxiety right from the start, with the car begging to be plugged...

Re: Charge place Scotland
We used 2 CPS fast chargers in December, one in Jedburgh and one at Heriot Watt University near Curry. I thought the charges were very reasonable indeed, the only issue I had was using the app. I had signed up 3 weeks before our trip and ordered an rfid card which the website said would arrive in 1...

Re: Would you order another ID3?
Too soon to tell for me. I like the size and drive of the id.3. We downsized from a Prius which was getting a bit big for us even though I loved it, and was our 2nd Prius. We keep our cars for about 5 years so I expect there should be more out there in a few years. I really want more range. Yesterda...

Anyone here on Intelligent and Outgoing Octopus rather than SEG? I've got Go fixed at 7.5p until August but wondering if it might be worth switching to Intelligent if I could get paid more for exporting over the summer... I am on intelligent and Outgoing Octopus. I haven’t yet had a full summer of ...

Re: For octopus customers
I have intelligent Octopus which I registered with using my Nissan Leaf. My daughter bought the id.3 I'd had on order for 15 months and has been charging it using my Ohme Pro Plus on IO. From the Ohme app I switch cars to her id.3, with her logging on using her WeConnect credentials and it works gre...

Re: 80% battery charge vs full charge
Go into the ‘Vehicle’ menu then on the left hand side of the screen there are ‘buttons’. Select the one that says ‘Charging’. On the screen you will then be able to see your car’s SOC. Also you will see a slider along the bottom of the screen which will probably be set to charge to 80%. Move the sl...

My wife says she recalls the salesman telling us about the "moonroof" 14 months ago when we test drove an id.3 and then ordered one. I had totally forgotten about it.

Re: Delivery time
I picked up my Family Pro Performance this week and it didn't have a sunroof. I certainly wasn't expecting one.
Oh my word, it DOES have a sunroof or is it a moonroof?
AMAZING!!

Re: Delivery time
I took delivery of my Family Pro today after ordering in Nov 21 and the last heard it was going to be Mid Feb 23 delivery until I got a phone call last week to arrange delivery. Now just need to figure it all out as the poor excuse for a manual supplied tells you nothing. First impressions are good...
