Re: Condensation and water droplets inside headlight

I get that problem from time to time but the condensation always clears when temeratures get above 10 degrees or so.
Can't say it bothers me.

Re: LHD Wipers Fitted to RHD Car

As I understand it this forum is a place for discussion of and comment on iD3 issues. It is not an insult to take a divergent point of view. To date I have seen no evidence that there is a problem with the wiper configuration. I am happy for members to disagree with that view but until I have a prob...

Re: LHD Wipers Fitted to RHD Car

I'll take your word for it but I can only speak as I find.
In eight months of ownership I haven't experienced any issues driving in adverse conditions.
Mountains and molehills come to mind!

Re: LHD Wipers Fitted to RHD Car

I still don't understand what the fuss is about.
I was out in the car this morning for about an hour in the rain.
Absolutely no streaks in front of the driver and the windscreen is as clear as with any other car I've owned.

Seems to me be a case of mountains and molehills!

Re: LHD Wipers Fitted to RHD Car

I don't understand this thread. I've had my iD3 for about six months and never experienced any problems driving in the rain. The sweeps on the passenger and driver side are almost identical and leave the windscreen clear apart from a very narrow strip at the extreme edges. In fact I'd say it was sup...

Re: Paint work: how’s it holding up?

I've been using Autoglym Bird Dropping Wipes for years.
They come in individual sealed sachets and work a treat.
Never had a problem removing droppings.
I suspect a rather better option than a heat gun!!

Re: LHD Wipers Fitted to RHD Car

I don't understand this thread.
Goodness knows we've had enough rain in the past months to test the wipers!
I've experienced no visibility problems driving in really bad weather.
Maybe some people have an April 1 model!!

Re: Charging Point Locked - will not release

I don't know if the protocol is the same with all chargers. I have a Zappi and always release the car end first, and this releases automatically To release the charger end you have to press the "+" button on the charger control panel. This has always worked without a problem, apart from on...

Re: Zappi charging slowly

My Zappi has always charged reliably at 7.4kW since I took delivery of my iD3 last November.
The "Reduced AC Charging Current" option has to be set to "Off".

Fear not, it's early days! It took Bill Gates 15 years to come up with a half decent version of Windows.

Re: Would you order another ID3?

Yes.
Fun to drive, comfortable, no problems so far. Not bothered about having the latest trim or gimmicks.
Whenever you buy a car, something better (different?) will come along tomorrow.
