Re: Intermittent charging
I may have missed it but does it get to your designated charge level or is the issue that it sometimes just doesn’t charge enough? I get all these notifications but for me OVO and Ohme always work well to get me to 80% by 7am which is my set target time. With IOG the schedule is sometimes past the ...

Re: Intermittent charging
Hi DHail I had something similar. Zappi charger too. Over a period of time I noticed that there was no continuous charging. I Used the "Location" charging in the car, and [at a different time] I used the settings on the Zappi to delay the charging to coincide with my IOG cheap period. In b...

Re: Yellow 3.7 update icon disappeared
but how have you achieved 'Lane Assist' off that survives leaving and re entering the car ?
OBD11
I think there's a thread on this from a while back.
Basically buy OBD11 and pay a small fee for their software to use it easily.

Re: Yellow 3.7 update icon disappeared
Hi Batterdry500 I had exactly this; always appeared when inconvenient. So I delved into settings/system information as Sidehaas suggests. Then the yellow message reappeared! Set it off yesterday at 14.30 and left it until just now. Software has successfully updated to 3.7, and what’s more it didn’t ...

Re: Octopus Inteligent won't pair with ID.3
It took me 18 months to get Octopus to install a WORKING smart meter. I had told them, some months earlier, that the set-up needed an aerial because of the poor signal where we are (off the West coast of Scotland), Finally they came with a new meter and an aerial! It worked and I was able to get IO ...

Had the email two days ago, just need enough driving to download it.
Hope 3.7 cures my intermittent charging woes.

Re: Hello
Welcome Rosie60!
Given some forward planning of where the fast chargers are on your route, 200 miles should be straightforward enough.
My wife & I did 1800 miles to Norfolk earlier this year, no problems. We live off the West Coast of Scotland.

Hi Patriu
My latest location charge gave no notifications at all, and charged to the 80% asked for - go figure!

Re: Odd pattern of charging
This sounds like normal IO behaviour, when you plug in and set it to charge by activating boost on the zappi, IO will see the charge has started and set a schedule to get to your set 80% charge by the time you have requested it, stopping your initial charge and restarting when it decides to do so. ...

Scratch - Thanks for your comments.
At the moment I'm in touch with MyEnergi to see if it might be anything form their end due to DSR.

Re: Odd pattern of charging
Did the notification on your phone say simply "Charging session completed" or did it say "Charging error"? If it's the latter, then there's something wrong with the charge port. Charging Session completed was the message, several times, particularly on the previous Thursday. But...

Re: Odd pattern of charging
You aren't using any sort of external scheduling system like Octopus Intelligent or doing anything smart with your charger? Hi Sidehaas - I do have IO but was simply using my Zappi on FAST (dumb - starts charging immediately, until I tell the car to charge at preferred time) and had not attempted t...

Odd pattern of charging
I've used location charging at home [set to coincide with my cheap rate] for a while now. Last night a notification came through on the app that charging was complete, just a minute or two after starting. The SOC was at 31% and I'd set it to go to 80%. So why did it stop? I unplugged/re-plugged and ...

Re: Stuck charge port
This happened to me in April - fortunately my car was still under warranty. Wednesday 10th April 4pm. Arrive home, SOC at 20%, car reminds me to charge. Open the charge port door - fails to open. Lock car, double tap to open again, click heard from charge port door - but fails to open again. Try the...

Re: Hard wearing tyres
I replaced my Bridgestone tyres after 9000 miles!
I now have a set of Michelin CrossClimate 2, which have already done 10k and look OK for another 10k.
I'd certainly recommend them.

Main screen & ID Cockpit
Picked up my car today, from the repairers, all fine except that I noticed the drivers display (ID Cockpit?) shows "long term" details rather than "since start", which is what the main screen is set to. Even when I change the main screen from "since start" to "long...

Hi MotMot Thanks for the comments, much appreciated, but unfortunately anything like that is a million miles from where I live! I don’t believe it.. I’ve lived in some pretty remote parts of the UK and there’ll be someone in one of the nearby towns who can do this… :D Both VW Assist, and my [well k...
