It turns out it was. Not easy to contact the dealer about it though.

Update

While in for an SOS error repair they replaced the cable under warranty. It would have been over £700 otherwise!

Now I have 2 working cables. No bad thing.

I have booked with national windscreens. My broker gave me 1yr free insurance and that is who they say to use.

Hopefully they do a good job! The crack has already grown, however I can do without the car after tomorrow until the appointment on 8th June if it gets too bad.

I have an Indra Smart Pro. Mine is untethered but they can come tethered. I like it. A bonus for me was finding out about OVO anytime, which it is compatible with. That is best for me because I can't load shift anything significant to a night rate.
