I'm on v3.0 but use the ohme charger to manage the charge and prefer using the charger over the car.

The car proved to be more flakey with scheduling however I stayed with the charger being in control as the charger app allowed me greater control for when I need to change the schedule.

Had a similar issue, the advice from Octopus was to delete my car/application via the app (its hidden in settings) and then apply again.

It eventually worked after the third try.

I've charged at Tesco Thurrock and the chargers in the multi story car park behind the old Debenhams.

No real issue with either but the pod point charger was faster. I think they have a 22 and 50kw sockets

The octopus website is currently saying they don't support ID models yet.


Incase I've missed the update, when I joined Intelligent Octopus I had to ring them to reset my application when it got stuck as there's no way through the app to exit the error loop.

Had the same problem and wasn't happy with their answer of just call breakdown assistance.

Massive update. Turns out the CT clamp was broken and it took 2.5 months for Ohme to work it out.

The car happily charges at 7kw now and happily wakes up for delayed charging. I get occasionally get slow charging complaints from the car but it won't stop charging.

Random question for those with an Ohme charger. When you put the charger into developer mode how many amps are you seeing during the test. What's developer mode? The charging menu is slightly different on the ID.3, only battery care is in settings.

Everything else is part of the location setup.
