Octagon Go / Hive App - Different energy figures.
Morning All, So, I just got my first full monthly bill from Octopus using the GO tariff. These totals are for house use and EV charging 94kwh - off-peak 316kwh - peak This is clearly wrong as I use my charger to top up every night, and I live on my own and work away from home. I checked my Hive app,...

Re: Delivery time
Yes, I too was told by my dealer that they are currently doing the 23 update. Originally, he said my Max was due to be built in July, but thinks it's more likely October now. On the plus side, at least I'll get the extra sensors etc. I'm in a decent position because I currently have a ID3 Family to ...

Re: Cars Ordered in Late '21 - will They Get MY22.5?
Sorry, I'm mucking you around. Apologies. My max order number is 31388535. I got totally confused! Hi there, I currently have a Family Pro Performance as an intermediate car while I wait for my Max Pro Performance. The dealer said my current order for the max is on that 315 order number. I’m expecti...

Cars Ordered in Late '21 - will They Get MY22.5?
Morning all,
Quick question.
I wondered if MAX ID3 ordered in October '21 would likely get the MY22.5 update, when they are eventually built and rolled out, hopefully, later this year? My order number starts with a 315xxx.

Re: Charging to the max
Interesting thread. My ID is a company car and is replaced every 4 years. I asked my fleet manager about the 80% charge recommendation. He said I shouldn't worry about it and charge to 100% as I have a company car, and if anything should go wrong fleet services would deal with it. sounds like whoeve...

Re: Delivery time
Morning, I have a Max Pro Performance - Glacier White, on order as my company car. It was ordered in late October 2021. Our company's dealership finally gave me my order number yesterday - 31388535. The dealer still thinks late July for the build date, though I take that with a pinch of salt! If thi...

Passenger side mirror when reversing
Good morning All,
I set, in settings, the option for the mirror on the passenger side to assist when reversing, but it doesn't appear to do anything. Am I missing something? I have the 2.3 software.
Other than the settings option, I can't see anything else that assists this?
Thank you.

Re: Octopus Go New Tariffs
Agreed. 5p is nothing. I suppose the company car tax saving will offset this quite a bit. My company car tax for the new financial year is £140 for the year. I was paying more than that for 1 calendar month with the diesel. I estimate I'll get over £200 a month back with the tax saving. Thanks for t...

Re: Octopus Go New Tariffs
Thanks for the reply. My ID3 is a company car, so will average around 15000 miles a year. I get 5p a mile back for business miles (so probably 12500 miles business). I average (without EV car), 1900 kWh for the past year, based on 19P kWh. Octopus have offered me: 35p kWh (04:30 - 00:30) 7.5p kWh (0...

Re: Octopus Go New Tariffs
Been reading the comments. I'm currently with British Gas, with no EV tariff available, currently. I am debating whether to switch over to Octopus. My tariff ends at the end of April, then I move over to a flexible tariff. I can't work out if those 4 hours of 7.5p kw EV tariff on Octopus, make up fo...

more than one mobile phone question
Hi all, As a company car owner, I have two mobile/cell phones (private - iPhone & business - Android). They both work fine, and I can accept calls from both, and phone out from both. My question: Can I get my iPhone to be the default phone so it loads first, and has priority over the android? I ...

Re: VW Contacted to Promise Me OTA Update Q1 2022 - So Can't Be 2.4
That's interesting. I received my ID3 last Wednesday, and have charged a few times since. Each time mine has charged to my settings of 80%. I have 2.3. Since last year I have not been able to rely on charging occurring as set on the car, for example I set 80% car charges to 100%. In January VW Conne...

Re: Do Overnight EV Tariffs Exist Anymore?
Thanks, I'll take a deeper look. I could only see it mention fuel when I had a brief look. I'll call Octopus tomorrow regards tariffs. i wonder if they'll honour your referral, that is if they take my custom! :-) I wasn't aware I could do that with my company car? I work for a company, not self-empl...

Re: Do Overnight EV Tariffs Exist Anymore?
Thanks for your insights. I'll give them a call on monday. Thank you. I've tried, but I get this... Screenshot 2022-03-25 at 22.42.49.png You can definitely switch online to Octopus but they do try as hard as possible to warn the hard of thinking about tariffs over winter. I know this because a few ...
