Re: OBDeleven - What do I need?
Hi everyone who replied here. I got the dongle and have successfully applied the change to the car. In case you're thinking about it too - you just need to buy the dongle itself at about £60. Dongle.png You can then purchase, in app, the 10 credits needed to use their app. which sets the LA to &quo...

Re: 3.5 software, then 4.0 apparently later this year ('23)
Took the car out after the update, didn't notice any short jolt but the car was driving OK. I found a post on another forum which indicated that this was a minor update and does not affect the software version number, so all is as it should be. Also there were some drivers who noticed a very soft jo...

Re: Pulse Inverter Software Update - "Close Windows" instruction
Thanks for that, I had the same problem. It seemed to go through the update process, after resetting the windows, however when I go into system information it is still giving the version number as 3.0.0, as it was before the update, is this correct or should the version number be further on. The oth...

Re: Wallbox Pulsar Plus Best Amperage Setting for 56kw battery
Update. Did a charge last night with the setting at 32 amps, no problems. It charged from 44% to 80% in 3 hours 12 minutes at a cost of £1.86 . Very happy with this charger.

Re: Charging schedule being ignored
I'm experiencing an issue where whenever I plug in the charging cable at home (haven't tried anywhere else yet) the infotainment system shows "Charge immediately" and so it starts charging. However in the app I have it set to charge from 00.30 - 4.30. :!: I'm not sure if I have missed any...

Re: Wallbox Pulsar Plus Best Amperage Setting for 56kw battery
Btw I have been using a Wallbox pulsar plus with my ID3 for 18 months now. At 32amps! It’s been very reliable the only major issue is wifi access. That’s rather flakey. So I do any changes, updates etc via Bluetooth. I've read of a few people having problems with the WiFi connection, so far this ha...

Re: Wallbox Pulsar Plus Best Amperage Setting for 56kw battery
Thanks guys, your answers are very helpful. The cabling/installation etc was done by a professional company, Smart Home Charge, and was done to a high standard, so I don't see any reason why it should not handle the higher amperage. I'll give it a go for the next charging session and see how it goes...

Wallbox Pulsar Plus Best Amperage Setting for 56kw battery
Hi, received my Family Pro last week and am very happy with it. I had a Wallbox Pulsar Plus installed about a month ago in anticipation of getting the car. Last night I did the first overnight charge between 00:30 and 04:30am as we have just switched to Octopus Go. I set the schedule in the Wallbox ...

Re: New ID3 Family Pro
Martyn informed us that VW have withdrawn Stonewashed Blue from the colour options, think this is just in the UK. It seems any back orders with this option will be fulfilled but he said that any new orders do not have this option available. It still shows as an option on the VW web 'Build your own'...

Re: Soon to be an owner.........
Hi, from another Fifer, we are in Glenrothes. We ordered our Family Pro last September from Arnold Clark in Stirling and took possession of it last week. So hopefully you will get yours soon. Arnold Clark phoned us last month, (May), to tell us that they had got a build date of July for our car, the...

Re: Brand New ID3 Owner
Hi everyone! We (finally, after waiting since October) picked up our new ID3 Family Pro, and I absolutely love it. However, probably due to me not being very handy with anything technical, I am struggling at times with the various, and seemingly endless options on the infotainment system. It seems ...

Re: New ID3 Family Pro
Thanks folks, loving driving the car, got a few minor queries, Martyn at VW Stirling is phoning me tomorrow with an update on them. The main one we have is puncture repair. The car has 18" Bridgestone tyres which from what I can gather do not have self sealing but there was no repair kit suppli...

New ID3 Family Pro
Hi, we took delivery of our new ID3 Family Pro in Stonewashed Blue last week and are loving it. We ordered it last September and were not expecting it until late this year, so it was a pleasant surprise to get it earlier than expected. Apparently the Stonewashed Blue is no longer an option in the UK...

Hi from a new ID3 owner.
Hi, been using this forum for a while now and it has been my No 1 source for ID3 info. We ordered our ID3 last September from Arnold Clark VW Stirling and took delivery of our new car last week. We went for the Family Pro option in Stonewashed Blue and it looks and drives beautifully. The staff at A...
