I've tried this (adding TA) - it works but you have to engage ACC before you can activate TA. People with vehicles delivered with TA tell me that pressing the TA button also engages ACC - so there must be an additional bit of coding to be done. Anyone know what that is?

Re: Osprey Chargepoint
I've had exactly the same with a GeniePoint charger - it doesn't show up on my WeCharge account. But WeCharge say that it can take several week for charges to come through. Just make sure you don't burn through the £500 and then get hammered by mistake.

Re: Breakdown Set/Tyre Jack/Wheel Locking Nuts
I bought a 18" Golf space saver wheel off eBay for £50 - it's now sitting in my garage. I had the misfortune of getting a side wall puncture and the SealTech doesn't fix that, but the AA man who came to rescue me said that they can always get your car home and if you have a spare wheel at least...

Re: Heat and electrical stuff on when engine off
It's wise to keep an eye on your 12v battery as it can become depleted and just driving the car isn't always enough to keep it topped up. I've started putting a 12v charger on it from time to time to make sure.

Re: Has anyone received the Major Update ?
I'm booked in to my dealer to have the update next Wednesday. I contacted them after reading online that it is now available. They told me that the update work takes seven hours so they want the car for a couple of days.

Re: UK First Edition £500 charging credit
I have just received the following from GeniePoint. Geniepoint chargers do not show up in the app as accepting WeCharge however. Maybe someone would like to try it: Thank you for your email. I have been advised that the VW cards should work on our chargers. Please do call us on the helpline 0203 598...

Is Charge Point Services Ltd the same as GeniePoint? If so they are installed at Morrisons supermarkets. However, their chargers don't show up on the map in the WeConnectID app.

Re: 90% charge only showing 216 miles
Through November I was getting 214 miles for 100% charge. Now the weather is colder it's obviously less.
I'm guessing that if you warm the car with the stationary aircon it also warms the batteries to a more optimum temperature. Does anyone have a definite answer to that?

Re: Theories about 12V battery drain
There's an insideev YouTube video on this issue. Basically he jump started the 12v battery and then drove the car for a bit and it recharged the 12v battery

Re: List of issues experienced in 4 weeks.
I've found that the ACC can spuriously "detect" and apply phantom speed limits which make it more or less unuseable/dangerous except on motorways.

Agree point 9 - no ambient air flow is a significant problem for the reason you say.

Re: Help to activate we connect
I had this problem too. Multiple calls to the WeConnect helpdesk and they admitted there were problems with their servers. It finally connected after I'd had the car about 10 days and I haven't dared fiddle with it since.

Re: UK First Edition £500 charging credit
Same here - I wrote and asked for an extension but I haven't had any reply.
On another note I used my WeCharge card on an Alfa-Power charger and it charged me £29.00 for a 22.22kWh charge. I wrote to both VW and Alfa-Power but I haven't had any reply.
