Re: Proud, sorry annoyed new owner

Shame however In hindsight, better for it to have gone now than whilst it’s on your drive.

Is it a First Edition?

Re: Information about the 2.3 OTA update

"Badschik declined to specify particular upgrades that Volkswagen could charge for in the future but said that they could include extra range and charging times, custom screens and new light signatures." Difficult to see how you could get extra substantive range from say 58kw to 77kw as t...

Re: Lane assist & auto correct.

It's part of the NCAP 5* accreditation

Of course it is why would anyone think otherwise? Another feature that makes the ID3 cheaper to insure than my previous, 3 year old VW ice costing £14,000 k less.

Boot Buddy, taken straight out of my TRoc

Re: Order Placed Today

Unfortunately the installer could not get the unit to connect to my Wifi ( were I live we are restricted to who our internet provider ca...

Re: Order Placed Today

I’d recommend the Andersen A2 wall charger. It’s a bit more pricey - but is fabulous quality and design...which you can customise to match your property...and best of all - all of the functions seem to work with the ID.3 straight out of the box! I can run scheduled charges on it - or charge early i...

Re: Changing to Alloys

We ordered ours yesterday (Delivery April/ May.) Family Pro in Glacier White along with the Black Andoya 19””. Saw another vehicle with them on during a clandestine (tier 4) visit Monday. Looked great. Steel wheels as standard are to keep costs down and increase profit.

Village electrician is an authorised OLEV installer so let’s see what he has to say.

Tons of power in garage so should not be too much of a problem
