Re: Newbie about to order?

1. No issue if you use the car right away. However, to charge from 80-100% takes about the same amount of time as 20-80% - there's no point sitting at a rapid charger waiting for 80-100%, you'd be better off making a second "top up" stop further south to get you home, it will take less time overall...

Re: Summer Range - How is everyone getting on?

We drove down to Shropshire last weekend a 130 mile round trip starting with 97% finished on 47% battery, with a range of 100miles remaining. Mostly A roads with a lot of 30 - national and back to 30 sections but an enjoyable drive. Currently I am doing very short journeys 3 - 15 miles and driving i...

Re: Hello & question re the Myenergi Zappi 2 charger 7kW

Thanks for that. I get the sense it's more of a Zappi issue than VW from the various notes. It seems manageable but not ideal. Ah well! I got the impression it was more the manufacturers treating standards as guidelines.. I also thought it was sounding more like a VW problem, but I haven't kept up ...

Re: Hello & question re the Myenergi Zappi 2 charger 7kW

I'm brand new to Zappi (yesterday) and had the ID3 pro performance for a month. So still learning. This note relates to some of what G43FAN has said about ECO+. I have just had a problem with the Zappi stopping charging in ECO+ mode, despite lots of solar energy and the car still at 40% (set to 80%...

Re: VW Data and Apps

That's interesting.
I've re-added the ID.3 by scanning the QR code again so I can get back to the basic app functionality but I have no idea why the Tiguan is back on my account, and I can't see a way to remove it, in fact it states Reset car to factory to remove, which is going to be tricky.

VW Data and Apps

God only knows what's going on now.. Had a day out yesterday and as a result returned form a 120 (ish) mile trip with 43% battery, Car has been charging slowly all day and I was checking SoC on the app. Although it appeared to be connecting the SoC didn't change. Out of frustration as this didn't im...

Re: Hello & question re the Myenergi Zappi 2 charger 7kW

I think the problem in general with charging especially scheduled is there's a lot of ducks to get in order before it all works. I have 3 of 4 elements (ID.3, Zappi and PV) and would say it's 90% effective. Just to be clear, I work from home currently and the car is used for small local journeys 95%...

Re: Aircon Power / cooling

Sorry not seen any issues here in 'Sunny' Wales.. Just popped out and left the dog in the car for 10mins whilst I picked something up, left the air con running (apologies to other poster with issues around that) and the car was like a fridge when I got back. What is the output like if you hit the Ma...

Re: Intermittent charging at home

I got the impression that the issue was just to do with plugging in and charging and timed charging was not involved? I have not experienced anything like the OP encountered and I can only suggest that you should head to your nearest free 7.4kw charger and plug in to see if it's car or charger/house...
