G43 FAN- no pre heating,
Big-GT- my recent journeys - I have covered three trips of 100 miles each in the last week. I wouldn't class these as short.

Battery capacity
I need to know if this is to be expected: I swapped my 1st Edition for a Tour summer 2022 because I wanted the extra range. A 100% charge on 2/7/22 gave me a range of 342 miles according to the screen in the car. I only charge to 100% when I have a long journey to do, and want to get there and back ...

Re: 2.4 update and battery replacement
Day4. The dealer was asked for some readings from ODIS yesterday, which they have provided. They don’t expect the car to be ready today.

Re: 2.4 update and battery replacement
My Tour went in Thursday for the same. I was told two days, but when I phoned Friday pm to check I could pick it up I was told the update was only a third through. The service team don’t work at weekends so Nothing doing until today. Called this afternoon and was told they couldn’t get it to recogni...

Re: First charge
I had exactly the same issue regarding the car not releasing the charge cable. It has happened to me a few times now, even though I know I have to remove it immediately after unlocking! I have had the car a year now, and still find it hard to use the infotainment screen for everything, especially sa...

SOS not working, amber
Hi About 6 weeks ago, the amber warning "SOS fault, call workshop" appeared. My workshop took a look and diagnosed the need for a new unit, plus a couple of other faults (including the need to replace the left hand steering wheel module which was continually buzzing and vibrating). Some we...

Random pulses through steering wheel
This isn’t easy to explain. In normal use, the activation of any controls on the steering wheel generates a pulse through the steering wheel with a quiet beep/noise. In my car on occasions I feel a succession of pulses/ beeps without any touching of controls. Any thoughts?

Charging stations on Navigation
I have noticed that the info on the Nav regarding charging stations is very lacking. None at all shown in the Weymouth Dorchester area but I know there are several?

Re: Steel to alloys
Thanks guys. My car mate has suggested I look elsewhere, so am taking his advice! I swear if I had just accepted the grand for insurances they would’ve done it for nothing. Huff.

Steel to alloys
Hi I am in the process of (hopefully) buying an ID.3 , pre-registered with just delivery miles. It has steel wheels, and I asked the dealer if he could change them to alloys. I have an email from the salesman saying they can be swapped, and how nice the car will look. I have just been sent the invoi...
