Re: Charging location fault

I've lost my locations twice recently.
Switched off to put to charge through app, and when started, they were gone.
After reaching home set from scratch.
Think they are reconfiguring sth in the cloud, ant it removes them?

And phone gets even more hot. ;)
I use Mobile router.

Re: Wireless charging overheating phone

So: Wireless charging + misalignment + GPS = very hot phone. Solution: just use a short USB-C cable to charge your phone in the car and everything works fine with GPS and the phone in the more forward pocket (not the wireless charging one). Have used short usb-c cable for long, but then another pro...

Re: Charging through app

I have done it before, but I understood, that it is temporary restriction (for SW development ?).
Tried, but couldn't change the % downwards from 80% either.

Re: Charging locations deleted

My locations were deleted once, but not related to map destination.
I wanted to create two charging locations on same place, but there was no success.
Don't know for that, or just some reset was made, but I couldn't add any location before next day.

I wanted to pull the wire loop, which is meant to be cut in extreme situations.
The yellow wire cable was hiding behind other wires. ;)

Charging through app

Tried to change max charging % in app to 90 or 100, but nothing happened. VW answered to ma question: Regarding your inquiry about maximum charging per cent in We Connect ID app, we would like to inform you that currently mentioned function is not available. You are able to set maximum 80% from your...

Haven't tried, if you press unlock 'button' on driver's door, will it remain unlocked?
As lane assist, you cant disable permanently.

Re: New way of driving

When I did a test drive with petrol Peugeot 208 (EV was no out jet) to feel the interior and size, I wondered, that petrol car had also (switchable) range meter instead of L in tank. Also started to drive more calmly. If you know, you can accelerate, you understand, you don't have to do it. You don'...

Re: 'Reduce charging current' option

Read various articles about Li-Ion battery charging and must agree, that this difference in amperage has minimum impact to the battery life. Just when I was seeking for first EV, had a long debate with long-time Leaf owner who also replaced Leaf-s batteries. He told me, that he even find a schuko in...

I am quite sure, location charging and departure times are not related (if I understood you right).
Departure times are only for preheating.

Re: Home Charging- using location

I've got a ticket open with both VW and the ID App help desk RE timed charging. I've tried it every which way and although it sticks to the preferred times and also uses the plug for preheating etc reliably. There's one major flaw in that with location-based timed charging enabled with or without a...

Re: 'Reduce charging current' option

I have 3 phase 11kW charger.
It shows 15.5A in full mode and 7.4A in reduced mode.
For overnight charging I've used reduced, because my idea is, that slower charging means longer battery life.
When I need quicker charging and fuse can hold it, I clear reduced mode.

Re: Tool kit??

If you can find 18" or bigger spare wheel.
I'm quite sure, that 17" or smaller won't fit because big brake support.
Usually the spares are smaller, but PCD is same as Golf and many other VW and MB (5x112 center hole 57,1).
