Re: UK Government Grants

All fine here too. Currently running on 0783 software, booked to go in to dealer on 6th April for update. About the only thing I’ve noticed is the occasional brief music dropout when using apple car play.

Electric Highway upgrade

Hi all, Just watched this Fully Charged report about the new collaboration between Ecotricity and Gridserve to upgrade all of the existing Ecotricity hardware on U.K. motorways and also install new charging tech. Saying the upgrade has already started, and should be completed by summer. Great news. ...

Re: ID3 Home Charging

Hi Devonlad. Is the ID 3 app the same as the We Connect app? If so, I’ve tried to connect to that through the Ohme app but to no avail. I’m due to move onto the Octopus Agile tariff and I’m wondering if/how this will work given that the charger doesn’t seem to recognise the state of charge existing ...

Re: ID3 Home Charging

Hi. Does anybody know what the ‘Volkswagen Account’ is that the Ohme app asks you to log in to? I have tried my We Connect credentials, but to no effect. The app doesn’t seem to know how much charge is in my battery when the charge cable is connected, so always shows the wrong charge level.

Re: public charging networks

I have really struggled to find any sensible information about Using the We Charge card. The salesman at the dealership I bought my car from told me that the We Connect dongle was a “free gift” that would help me to connect to the internet more easily, and that I could get a We Charge card from any ...

Re: public charging networks

Electric Vehicle Man on YouTube is very informative. This video is about registering with public charging networks and which apps/cards are useful to have. It has recently been updated too.

It’s a good start.

Re: What a nice car!

Car is now booked in relatively locally for 2.1 update. I have to wait until 6th April because I will need a courtesy car. Not a big problem though as my car is running fine on the 0783 software so far. I watched Chris from Battery Life on YouTube streaming his 2.1 update. Other than bug fixes and O...

Re: What a nice car!

Thanks for that :) 50kw CCS, so rapid it is then.

Whilst I’m here, could anyone tell me if I need to go back to the retailer I purchased the car from to get the 2.1 software update, or could I use a VW dealer closer to home?

Re: What a nice car!

Greater Manchester. All of the Morrison’s car parks around here seem to have 50kw Genie chargers. Also the BP forecourts are having them installed. Thinking about it now, should I have called them ‘fast’ rather than ‘rapid’? I admit I haven’t paid much attention to the intricacies of charging termin...

What a nice car!

Hi. I recently bought an ID 3 Business Pro Performance in Manganese grey with 19” Andoya alloys and a heat pump. It had been pre-registered by the main dealer I bought it from, but that meant that I got about £6k off, and it was in stock. I saw it advertised on Sunday evening, and it was delivered o...
