My car lost connection and VW connect customer service emailed a reply stating there is an “service outage”. Anyone else’s experience the same ?

After many emails and calls with VW I was told: We would like to clarify for you that the departure times in We Connect ID app are for climate in your vehicle. On the other hand, the departure times in the infotainment system is for Charging.

Good question CSRCH, I owned a BMW i3 for 4 years and BMW never mentioned to charge to 80%. It was always to 100%. Given the limited range, the scarcity of public charging points (and the ridiculous price they charge) I can’t afford to loose 20% of the range.

Since these issues are not resolved VW should refund all people buying the car even now, not just first edition - dream on
