Re: Keys not working
I've got the same problem but even worse. I can't even unlock with the manual key , so I am totally locked out of the car. I have also tried the spare key. BTW my ID3 is a first edition with version 2.4 software installed. Fortunately my car is at home locked up securely in my garage. I will contact...

Re: Software update 2.4 breaks charging locations
I have this problem with my 1st Edition. The best I can do is to plug in the charger and stop charging via the connect app. Be vigilant that it doesn't spasmodically restart charging before (occasionally glancing at my smart meter display helps with this)12.30 am and restart charging with the connec...

I have this problem with my 1st Edition. The best I can do is to plug in the charger and stop charging via the connect app. Be vigilant that it doesn't restart charging before 12.30 and restart charging with the connect app at 12.30 and hopefully it reaches the 80% cut off before 4.30. Usually works...

Re: Stored location disappeared
My stored location used to dissappear occasionally, maybe once every three months or so but since the 2.4 update it is far far worse. It dissappears constantly within hours or sometimes minutes. I thought that 2.4 was supposed to remedy all of the timed charging issues not make them infinitely worse.

Re: 2.1 upgrade software has been updated
My car was with the dealer for four weeks with problems updating to 2.1. (Also to have the SOS module replaced) It looked good for a couple of days after I got it back then a previous intermittent fault reappeared with a clicking noise accompanied by the passenger reading light flashing. Then the 12...

Re: 2.1 update confirmed
Re MPA10 sos hardware fault, I've had the same issue. Took it in to Nottingham VW South for both the SOS system fault and latest software upgrade, I was told to bring my car back home because the SOS system was a hardware fault and had to be replaced. Given date of 28th April to return.

Re: Timing a Charge
I have had the same problem of very low charging rates, as low as 3 mph. So in four hours duration of cheap rate only 12 miles added. Never had any problems with my old e-golf, is that what they call progress.

Re: Timing a Charge
Regarding timed charging problems, I understand that they do not have off peak cheap electricity tariffs in Germany, perhaps if they did Volkswagen would be more inclined to pull their finger out and do something about this issue.

Re: Timing a Charge
Apart from charge timing issues I also have problems that often the charging rate is painfully slow 3 or 4 miles per hour added and recently I had an issue that I couldn't start charging at all then suddenly after about 36 hours the car began charging quickly. I makes a daunting prospect going for a...

Re: Timing a Charge
I set a charging time for my ID3 but this doesn't work. Sometimes the car charges immediately but Sometimes it starts at any random time that it feels like. Sometimes it charges at a rate of only 3 or 4 miles per hour and Sometimes at a reasonable rate. Something seriously wrong with it.
