Re: Cold weather stops key working

I've had the same thing! Very frustrating and when I unlock the car with the key, the alarm goes off. Only happens when cold (less than 0 C).

Fresh air setting

I'm struggling to find a way to get 'fresh air' through the vents (without turning the fans on). The manual mentions a 'smart climate tab', but I can't find this on/from the climate control screen. I have a Life model with no bells and whistles. Any help much appreciated please. Thanks

Re: Best practice heating

Thanks. I'm new to this, so didn't realise the car could pre-heat from the battery. I'll give it a go.

Re: Best practice heating

Thanks. Unfortunately we don't have a charger at the house (on street parking only).

The thing that would help is if the air could be set to 'blow through' /a flow of (unheated) outside air. I've not been able to get beyond on or off.

Best practice heating

Hi All

As a new ID3 owner and with the recent drop in temperatures, I'm looking for tips on the most efficient use of the car heating please? The heating system seems to really drain the battery when switched on from cold.

Thanks for your help
