Thanks. Maybe that’s it. I’ll try turning off CarPlay and see if that helps the overheating. I’d be surprised if it was the wireless pad gone so wrong this early on.

I am having the same issue. It seems to be affecting the charge also. The phone seems to be over heating and unable to continue charging past a certain limit because it’s over heating.

This seems to be a common issue. I have the same issue today. In my experience, it generally resolves itself within 24 hours. Hopefully it will resolve itself for you also within the day.
