Rear Reversing Camera Not Working
Yesterday, I parked my ID3 in the drive as per normal and the rear reversing camera was working fine. However, this morning, when reversing out of a parking space in a Supermarket Car Park I just got a blank screen with the schematic of the sensors around the car on the right of the screen. I've tri...

Parts availability and Braking Issue
Just prior to Christmas, I was involved in an accident when I went into the back of the car in front. Fortunately I was in queueing traffic so speeds were low, but on using the brakes I got no braking response and despite the car being in 'B' regenerative braking mode it still tried to move at its d...

Re: 3 new faults today. Help!
Hi Interesting read even if I don't understand some of the explanations completely. I too have experienced exactly the same error messages and had last week agreed to the installation of the latest software upgrade. What puzzles me is that shouldn't VW be notifying their customers what to expect ra...

Re: Speed Recognition whilst using ACC
Thanks for the quick response. In this case, the signs are exceptionally clear and there is no way that they could be visually interpreted as anything else other than 30mph. It is interesting now that you mention it, that it only happens at one location; but up until about 3 weeks ago had recognised...

Speed Recognition whilst using ACC
Has anyone come across the problem of the ID.3 completely getting the speed limit on the road wrong, having for a number of months got it right. I drive into work that involves driving through a small village with an average speed limit camera. Since, I have owned the car it always recognised that t...

Re: Update to 2.3
Like many others, I've had the e-mail in German. I have checked my profile and app settings on https://vwid.vwgroup.io/account as suggested by Utumno above and it's set to English and United Kingdom. Anyway, I have clicked on the 'Zustimmen' button i.e. 'agree' to update. This isn't the first time t...

Re: ID3 Software Update v2.3
After denying the update last Monday I still don't have the small one. I've got a suspicion that knowing VWs sick sense of humour, it asks for the update every week the same day. I wouldn't be surprised to turn my car on this coming Monday and it asks me to update. Not quite sure what has happened ...

My first long trip
Hi All On Thursday, I'm doing my first 'long' trip since taking ownership of my I.D 3 Pro Family in April. I'm travelling from Cardiff to Totton, just outside of Southampton and would welcome any advice. I'm keen not to arrive with a limited range and have to find a local charging point, as visiting...

Re: Front Assist Unavailable & Proactive Occupant Protection System Restricted
Thanks for the prompt response. Having left it on my drive for the better part of 45 minutes and after a clean of windscreen where the camera is and front sensors both issues have now cleared. However, I suspect that my cleaning had nothing to do with the issue and as you say, probably down to some ...

Front Assist Unavailable & Proactive Occupant Protection System Restricted
Good morning Well, everything had been going smoothly with my new ID.3 until a received a warning after getting into the care this morning, The warning stated: "Warnings and information unavailable. Drive carefully! along with both red and amber warning triangles. On going into the car menu and...

Re: Fitting tow bar and cycle rack
Hi Cassie
I'm new here too and also spec'ed the car to have the tow bar for bike rack (still have to buy the rack though - any suggestions?). I haven't tried it out the tow yet, but will tomorrow and will let you know if I encounter any similar problems with the key.
Best wishes
Simon

Wow and Hello and a little help please!
Hello All Well I took delivery of my new ID3 Pro on Thursday and have been quite blown away by the car. Having previously driven a BMW Series 3 Touring (selling atm if anyone is interested, but I suspect I'm talking to the wrong audience) , I wasn't quite sure what to expect in the driving exp...
