I had the same on Monday, cleared again and haven’t seen it since either, good to know it’s a ‘known’ fault that will clear

Re: Should I Take The Plunge?
Thank you all for taking the time to reply, still leaning to going down the ID-3 route. I’ve tickets for the Goodwood Festival of Speed on Thursday where there’s an Electric Avenue so it will be interesting to look at some other manufacturers although I still favour VW. Two questions arise, what’s ...

Re: Finding the right deal
We managed to a competitive deal on PCP via our dealer in Aberdeen. Cleared the finance within the first fortnight, just took it out to get the additional discounts etc

Re: Pre-collection checklist
Also check it has its ID.3 badge on the back, I kid you not ours was missing when we collected ours, didn’t realise until we went back into the car to empty our luggage (we were having a night away), quick phone call to salesman to confirm it was a rebadged model we had purchased (it wasn’t), dealer...

Re: Pre-collection checklist
Get them to run through how to plug it in for charging or maybe more importantly how to unplug it, I’m sure we’ve all had the scenario in the early days when the cable is locked in place and no matter what you do it won’t unplug 🤣 There’s an emergency release and also a sequence of buttons to press ...

Re: Stuck in Offline Mode
Mines has just started doing this last night and today has been fine since I took delivery early June? I wonder if it’s more a network issue rather than the car, I’ll wait until Monday and see how it is then? Further update my car was doing the same Friday through until Wednesday, tried the reset o...

Re: Question re public charger compatibility
I'm only new to this so go easy on me... I've charged at 7Kw and 50Kw points so far with the expected results concurrent with their output; however, I've now been to two 22Kw and 43Kw charge points, yet I still only manage to max out at 7Kw - is this due more to a battery charge (ie above 60%), or ...

Re: Home charging fitting
I’ve just had the Sync EV fitted today, very pleased with it, it’s actually just inside our garage, plan to probably use it a bit like a tethered charger and leave cable attached, husband has yet to find some sort of cable holder, it’s sleek and compact and easy to use so far so very happy this end...

Re: 90mph speed limit??
My one does something similar, enter nearby village and it drops to 30 mph, you reach the school and it suddenly changes to 80 mph and accelerates .... not great when it would be a 20 mph limit at the school, I now know to make sure it’s turned off on approach, I wonder is there some sort of mechani...

Re: Car won’t start and strange symbol
My car wouldn’t start this morning every warning light was on?..... My dash looked like a Christmas tree complete with sound effects 🧐 Called out VW roadside assistance, charge level was 71%, hubbie in the end decided to plug it back into the charger for a few moments and that seemed to reset everyt...

Re: Stationary Aircon (heat) only functions when charging
I have a ID.3 Family collected at the beginning of June, my stat ac is working without being plugged in, to be fair it’s only being used to cool the car so far as it’s been warm since we took delivery. It might be a different story in the winter time with no heat pump

So far so good this end, I’m in the northeast of Scotland so it’s hardly been ‘tropical’ up here
To be fair I’m consistently returning 200/210 miles to 80% charge, very happy so far with mines

Re: Can't get started with We Connect ID
I had the same issue last weekend, I think my car has a very poor internet signal at my house, I went for a drive on Sunday parked outside my local VW dealer (not the one I purchased from and they were closed) it worked first time there. Now its set up its working great but I had 3 days of the same ...

Re: Charging Point Locked - will not release
I am so pleased to see this, my Family did this today with us at a public charging station (my first attempt at public charging), so frustrating, eventually it released, and it seemed to be it had reached its 80% capacity as set but unlocking the door didn’t seem to release the cable... light stayed...
