Re: Good buy I3 Hello ID3
đŁ good luck - just said earlier on another post - since airbag light was on for a week - took to my dealer and they reprogrammed various components - since no faults with any modules - fingers crossed. Have a word with your dealer - Norwich VW were amazing and given it was they first non PDI work th...

Re: SOS error .
Well lock the car and leave it for a bit (over 20 minutes with both keys well away from the car - it might clear however the new software update due in January should cover all the quirks! I didnât wait for my airbag light to be looked at as was on for over a week - since back from the dealer I have...

Stephen how long have you left it before the battery has died? I am pretty much in my ID everyday - not some Sundayâs) so probably wonât have the issue however it would be nice to know your experience

Re: Good buy I3 Hello ID3
Thanks for the response, if i hop back to the car screen i see an avatar of my car but nothing about range or battery status and Air con option doesn't do anything. Reception in the car is full bars and we have been driving it around today where i checked it a few times still the same. Also loaded ...

Re: Whatâs Up with the charging speeds ?
I think the cold certainly is making a difference on range. It will impact the batteries performance however add lights and heating and it will make a huge difference. When I purchased my ID one of the factors was we had to be able to get from Norwich to Kent on a charge - which in the summer would ...

Re: Software update (bug fixes)
Does anyone know why it takes four days to do a software update? Are they using paper tape and a teletype connected over a serial port? ;) I hope the over-the-air software update feature due soon doesnât immobilise my car for four days when it does an upgrade! I fear it is a combination of lack of ...

Re: Key not working
Hi, Just picked up my ID3 on Tuesday and overall really enjoying it. However, this afternoon after a drive I got out of the car and pressed the key fob to lock it, but it didnât work. Ended up having to fetch my other key which was working fine. Since then the car will not recognise the key at all....

Re: Software update (bug fixes)
Ah I caved. My airbag light stayed on for a week. Tried a few things found online including pulling 12v battery with no joy. I took it to the dealer and they have tried reprogramming the airbag module in the roof however it wasnât successful. ( or they bricked it!!) New module being fitted tomorrow ...

Re: Is it me?
I think it's fair to say that the ID.3, being their first ground-up EV design, will have some gremlins and sub-optimal design points. I'm sure the LCI will fix a lot of the issues. But that's probably 3 years away. In the meantime, so long as they fix the bugs then I'll be more than happy with the ...

Re: delayed charging to benefit from cheaper electricity
I didnât go for the OHME partly as I found it ugly having 2 separate boxes and a loose cable to have to hang off the front of my house, much preferred the look of the Pod Point. This is mine - in a narrow carport so it couldnât stick out past the electric meter which my father in law mullered đ 7FA...

Ace Cafe meet
I know this is probably the last thing on peoples agendas in the world of saving energy and the planet. One day when perhaps some of us have been vaccinated and we can once again meet up in groups of more than 6, we should meet up at the Ace Cafe! For me it will give me a chance to drive within 10 m...

Re: Supplied cable
unless the reason is for security or safety I would recommend a tethered point at home. I originally had a non tethered but changed to a 7m tethered. it made it a lot slicker pulling onto the drive and plugging in especially in rank weather. also with early morning Starts you're not packing the cab...

Ohme Smart charger worth a look. Has a 4g card installed and you can program charging schedules etc and also links into the octopus go and the other tariff so only charges when free / green or sub 5ppkwh energy available â
Quite a nice looking unit too with an inbuilt cable - will send a pic of mine...

Re: Whatâs Up with the charging speeds ?
I went to a âsuper chargerâ (50KW) the other day. It was a pod point and really morbid curiosity of charge speeds and got 30.5KWH in 39 minutes. Was set to charge to 80% so around 10% to 80%. Kind of inline with the 0-80% times VW state in a 100KW charger â

It is really bad - had my 1st for around three weeks and hadnât even noticed it... there is even a power button for the infotainment you are right though - should be illuminated. However think of the extra 3 miles per charge
