I took out the drivers seat sensor cable and put back.
After that I had airbag warning and could get free only with OBD. (8 airbag errors deleted)

Re: Set departure time
VW sent something to my dealer, but nobody, said, what was the problem.
When I collected after 2.1 update it was working.
Must say, that I actually don't use it, because I thought, it is charging times, not just AC.
Just the text in app? Now:

Re: ACC speeding/breaking
You can set Speed Limit Preview to off in the Assist settings. On the graphic, touch of the car in front to bring up the options. Today did first highway trip and must say, that it is the best tip, I've got since got ID.3 :D Thanks a lot! Now it works, as old school cruise control and won't brake o...

My globe was ok, but VW did something, when 2.1 software update was done.
Do you have app also without departure times?

Re: New ID3 today - using "B" drive mode?
I use mostly B, because I'm fond of one pedal driving from test drive with first e-up. I'd even like to get more regen until stop, as it is on 2. gen Leaf. On the highway I use also B with ACC. Certainly not more efficient, but breaks better (I think), when ACC detects forthcoming car. Another purpo...

Re: Charger release
Somewhere I saw TRIPLE press. :? I had this problem once, when I tried to increase the max to 90% through the app. Then tried to stop in car, took charger out of wall, put it back, tried to find emergency release under upholstery. At last could disconnect and afterwards read about dual or triple but...

You don't have to press the start button, just brake.monkeyhanger wrote: ↑Wed Apr 21, 2021 10:19 am Onto the drive...I press the start button on the steering column where a manual key would go - silly place! You have to fumble for it because you can't see it -
should've placed it on view in the lower dash.
That's what I like.

Re: Timing a Charge
Wrote to support. They offered: Regarding your inquiry about charging times, we kindly ask you to create an extra location for weekends for that time when you would like to start the charging. But it won't let to create second location in the same location. I have never been such problems, but I usu...

Re: Timing a Charge
How often does it charge to the % you set? Usually it does. :) When it preheats, sometimes it charges to 1% over limit, no problem. Usually was my own mistake, when it din't charged. Eg. thought, that friday's holiday is weekend day and set weekend charging to 9.00, but preferred times were 23.00-7...

Re: Timing a Charge
I've put the departure time same as cheap time.
Eg. leaving in 8.00, cheap time ends 7, then I put leaving also 7 and without air conditioning (it cools down anyway).
Of course, if I charge to 80%. 100% needs immediate leaving.
Sometimes it looks for cheap time interval, sometimes not.

Re: Introduction and seeking advise
I had same problem and they send solution to dealer when they did 2.1 upgrade.
Now it works, but it is not, what I supposed.
They didn't say, what they did.
I hoped to get charging locations, but it is only air conditioning.

Re: Default to comfort mode
SW upgrade set most of the settings to default.
Actually I wondered, it didn't changed them all.
When I restored to factory settings (VW supposed), everything was defaulted.

Interesting, have tried everything, but can't recall unticking this option.
Do you know, should it switch off map speed limits looking, only real life through camera?

Thought, i am smart.
Just tried out, when driving.
If waze says sth. add you increase the volume, 'Voice ctrl' volume is shown and volume changes.
Don't know, is it only, when waze/google voice is active.

I've understood, that Tesla has modified Type2 socket, because it has DC charging in the same Type2 socket.
Is there an adapter needed?

Haven't tried, but I guess by phone volume.
It sometimes warns me, that high volume may be bad for your hearing.
