Well if I’m told it will take weeks before I can take delivery (should have collected new car on Friday, but it failed update), I’ll be rejecting it.

I’ve just been advised that the new car I was due to collect now needs a new control unit. This wasn’t an error model, it only arrived with the dealer 2 weeks ago.

I guess it all comes down to true cost rather than RRP. There’s been some cracking deals around recently on in stock cars, I don’t think anyone ends up paying anything like the headline price. I purchased a First Edition for just over £29K and I’ve seen savings of £8K+ on Max.

Also noticed that the options available are totally different on the IE site - for example, most models seem to have alloys as standard
