Re: A shortcut for the heated-seats...
Hello Stuart t and welcome. Glad you enjoyed your first drive and I hope like me you have many more enjoyable miles, it’s a great car. I don’t know of a shortcut for heated steering wheel, but if you’re new to the car a couple of other features your dealer may have omitted are , Hold the ‘rear’ butt...

Re: Little top ups good ?
I can only use public chargers and usually let the battery go down to between 15-30 depending on my next journey and charge to around 80 As I understand from other posts many other people on the forum seem to plug in every night to top up using cheap electricity. So I’m a bit confused as to best pra...

I can see your points and most posts have replied to your questions.
I was just wondering if you have to declare the capital gain on your tax return? And if you did with the other sales on your imported cars?

I’m not an expert in tyres so what are your options on Avon tyres, they are more reasonably priced than the other big names

Re: Tyre recommendations
Hi all I’ve been reading this tyre thread with interest as I will probably have to change my tyres in the spring. I’ve never had any issues with any tyre on any of my cars, and certainly not felt in danger of killing my self or any one else so I really don’t understand some of the comments like the ...

Re: First trip away from home
Hi
Good to hear you had a good trip.
I’ve also used gridserve successfully at Baldock services and is one of the new 120kw chargers that is replacing the 50kw ones .
A lot of people still criticise gridserve but they are improving fast and definitely worth a go

Hi
I’m not 100% sure but I think you first stop the charge then press unlock on the key fob then take out the car end cable first.
Rwws may know more as he uses them more

Re: Charging etiquette - visiting people
I would never expect to be able to get a charge at my destination, I would plan to use a rapid either en route or on the way home. But if one was offered and it was suitable, I would definitely offer a meaningful gift or cash. But, there is no unwritten rule or standard, just good old fashioned pol...

Re: Information on 3.0
Hi all, Thanks for the information scott. I got my car in May 21 and have had very few issues and no problems at all with the updates. I’m looking forward to 3.0 if the rumoured ventilation system is more efficient. I know some people are not happy with issues they have on their car but if any prosp...

Sitting in the car
Hi everyone, I hope we are all enjoying our cars in this chilly weather, still a joy to drive for me. I’m currently sat in my car on my break as I do every day and noticed my consumption is showing 5.2 kWh/h temp is 0’ and I haven’t turned the ignition on so I guess just sitting in the car activates...

Sorry I didn’t see your post before I replied to the one before.
I always thought that topping up was bad for the battery, I have done it occasionally when on a long run but usually stick to the 80-20 advice given by most manufacturers.
