Re: ME2.0 update cancelled

Looks like this might be a West London ‘thing’ then - perhaps a franchise issue?

I can’t fault the customer service we’ve received - either from the sales or service/aftersales team members. Our dealer is part of inchcape.

Re: ID3 Home Charging

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread, but I have a question for those of you that have either “hacked” your charger with a relay to introduce a timer function, or have a timer function built in to your charger: I have installed a relay in my pod point charger, that I can control from an app on ...

Re: Alarm goes off at random

Ours went off in the middle of the night the other day - I thought "here we go...our turn to start getting the problems others have mentioned".....anyway out with the car over the weekend and found we had an optional extra fitted by VW that we didn't realise.......there was a moth in the c...

Re: ID3 Home Charging

I waited a while before contributing to this particular thread as wanted to have tested the charging a few times first! Having done that I wanted to share a positive news story about a different brand of charger I've not seen mentioned on this forum: I have an Andersen (the A2) - and I can't recomme...

Re: LHD Wipers Fitted to RHD Car

Did you do any digging with the washer jets while you were having a nosey? I hadn't done (as mine work fine) - but I've just been out to have a look......and on this point there is no 'ground up' redesign at all - in fact it looks to be exactly the same system (very simple) system as used on the Mk...

Re: LHD Wipers Fitted to RHD Car

Soooo...coming back to say I was wrong!!! Not such as easy fix! Spent some time having a good look at this today - and I guess the positive is that VW are absolutely spot on when they say that this car is a 'ground up' new design.....the wipers are certainly a good example of departing the way they'...

Re: LHD Wipers Fitted to RHD Car

Wouldn't that mean that with the passenger side, being underneath and wiping first, would hit the driver's side which had not moved? I think they both actually move at the same time - just that one is 'above' the other so appears to be wiping first. They are separated by an inch or so when stacked ...

Re: LHD Wipers Fitted to RHD Car

New to this forum (but longtime VW owner/fan/tinkerer!)...just got our ID.3 and can see what is being referred to here....I think there may be an easy fix?! From what I can see the issues being described are simply a result of which wiper is first/last to sweep the screen - they are currently 'stack...
