We all know there can be issues, some have had it worse than others, but what a nice collection of positive posts to remind us of all the good stuff!
I am glad to be able to say my own experience tallies with those above.

Re: Software v3 waiting
Apologies Scratch, I just assumed you had sent one of the emails requesting 3.0. Actually I didn’t know it could be loaded by the dealer, I thought it was either OTA or at the factory when built.

Re: Software v3 waiting
I share your frustration Scratch, but to be fair when we asked to get 3.0 now I think we also acknowledged that the software might not be perfect yet, there was some wording to that effect in what we signed up for. We volunteered to be beta testers! I seem to remember my data plan disappeared too, b...

Re: Service Mode
Navigation database update, perhaps? There seem to have been a few lately. And it’s definitely much better than it was, especially once you get 3.0.

Re: Headlight Dipped Beam Level Too High
What warning did it gave you Janthony? I’m pretty sure mine is set to “Driving on right” and I’ve never been flashed by oncoming cars. Might be wrong (will check tomorrow) but I remember the whole thing was pretty ambiguous.
Worth an experiment maybe?

I thought I read that EVs need special EV tyres. Not true?

Re: Question about warning light
It means the car thinks you are too close to the car in front and wants you to increase the gap.

Re: Lane Assist is downright dangerous
how slow the infotainment system is at booting up. That's a major gripe as well but its a separate topic. I hate waiting so long for it to start up. Good news is that when you get software 3.0, it helps. I’m sure I read somewhere that lane assist is improved with 3.0 (maybe Chris at Battery Life sa...

Re: Battery and range
I have solved the problem of my app miscalculating the range shown. Go into Profile > App Settings and change units from miles to kilometers. Now it may say “km” but the figure it shows me is the number of miles I should get and will match the number the car shows. It’s OK VW, you can stand down you...

Re: Battery and range
So those with the problem could try just try assuming that a stupidly low range in the app should be multiplied by 1.6 to get a more sensible figure.
I only pay attention to the % myself.

Re: Battery and range
I read speculation on another thread (or forum) that the app has some issue with wrongly applying the km/miles conversion. Interestingly I just checked what my app currently shows and when I opened it it briefly showed 90 miles for my 53% charge (not unreasonable having recently done only very short...

Re: Delivery time
Just one picture for now, the sunroof is amazing, but I didn't get a good picture of it yet. A note: the car is not happy at all to park next to leaves, it slammed the brakes a few times while I was slowly reversing there :) 20221127_135524.jpg Looks nice, dega! When reversing it often helps to tur...

Re: Saving preferences
I think for mirror dip on reverse you have to turn the mirror knob to that setting at the bottom right of the mirror control pad. I do, anyway.

Re: Delivery time
Lane Artist doesn’t use sensors, it sees the white lines on the road ahead of it and nudges you to stay within them.
