Re: Cost of servicing

Have spoken to VW and that input registration number for ours and advised servicing is ever 2 years or 20,000 miles whichever comes sooner Like many others seems like a money gathering exercise but will need to complete to ensure warranty continuity especially given the problems we had in tge early ...

Re: Scheduled charging with Pod Point

Use the PP timer every day and works well The light on the pp should be yellow to show timed charge selected I did have a problem just after the timing went live and called out engineer (bit if a faff) he changed the whole board as he said there are a few out there that don’t support the timed charg...

Re: Cost of servicing

Checked service screen and 600 plus days to service (registered 1 Dec 20) and no mileage given

I think an email to vw in order as a little concerned not to invalidate warranty if not keeping to schedule! (Finding the schedule is the difficult bit!)

Re: Cost of servicing

Will let you know cost very soon ours is approaching 16,000 rapidly

Dealer has advised service interval is 18,000 miles or 2 years

Must admit I thought it was at least 20,000
Anyone had any other information please

Re: Pod point scheduled charge not working

Would suggest logging a fault with pod point

The engineer who came to ours said there were a few old boards that font like the timed charge function

Worth the email and logging the fault as unfortunately they take a while to reply!!

Re: Pod point scheduled charge not working

Tge problem with my charger related to an initial installation issue where the earth rod/cable was incorrectly fitted The new boxes don’t need separate earth rod so was an easy fix, but did change the whole circuit board at same time The issue you describe I have had when I inadvertently left one da...

Re: Information about the 2.3 OTA update

Looks like ours has started update !

Wife is on way home from Bristol to Swindon and car will not go over 80 (I know you shouldn’t !!). But seems like a limiter of some sort and doubt she has pressed start update !

Will see what car says when she’s home!

Significant difference and much happier with range snd if only had a lighter right foot (and not have so much fun) range wou...

Re: Badges

It’s the cover from the hatch handle

Popped off when the boot was closed, luckily just on ground, and looks like just clips back in

Concern will pop off again!

Badges

Had a new one this morning, rear VW emblem badge decided to fall off when closing boot!

Anyone else had similar experiences, not a major problem but another annoyance when 2.1 seems to have solved most other issues and enjoying the drive with more range thanks to weather!

Re: I'm a bit worried about the range

Ours spends a great deal of time commuting on the motorway and 80% gives around 135-145 depending on weather and if driver kept to anywhere near 70!

Maximum we have seen is 165, but it’s not driven for economy at all !
