I think Ireland can have the 5 seat tour, but I'll presume you are in GB.

Re: New / Updated ID.3 to be revealed on 1st March
Looks very nice, but I can't believe they are going backwards in removing Adaptive Cruise Control from the base model. I can't imagine the car without it.

Re: Charging Help
Someone mentioned that the fast chargers are all similar but different enough to not have generic instructions. For any chargers around you, you'll probably find them in this playlist from Electrifying where they tell you how to use tesco/podpoint/fastnet/gridserve etc Edit, the forum is unhelpfully...

Re: Replacement key
Based on reports very similar to yours, I put these on my keys immediately. For people about to get their car, I recommend them as they cover the button that releases the manual key (and the keyring) from the actual transponder.

Re: Voice commands
If you have a life model, you need to upgrade to the "Air Care Climate" to get voice commands (and the smart climate screen).
At £249 it is absolutely not worth it. Just set a comfortable temperature and leave it.

Re: Id3 not activating in Intelligent Octopus
Because they list all their cars and then say "or any EV with an Ohme charger". If you didn't have the specific charger you have, you wouldn't be able to use Intelligent with your car.billybobb2019 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 10:14 am and my car is on 2.4 so i don’t know why they would say 3.0 and above?

Re: Max and Tour
I’ve just had a confirmation that my max is due to be built next week. However they can not confirm the specs and or seats, electric seats and so on. Time will tell, as normal VW doesn’t know what VW is doing. You'll be fine. They've been putting in the electric seats and travel assist for months, ...

Re: How to stop heated steering and lane assist
For steering wheel, look in climate > options. Also on your app for heating zones.
For lane assist, you need an ODBEleven dongle as it's part of the Euro NCAP safety rating that it turns on each time.
I also recommend changing your username so that it isn't your email address.

Yes, turns out to be almost nothing. Exactly the same version numbers in system, still 3.2. Took about 20 seconds to install.
Excitement over.

Are there changelogs for higher than 3.2?
I've had my first "you have a software update" message in my ID3, but I'm on 3.2 and didn't think there was anything higher at the moment. I've been waiting to see a report on here or facebook to see what changed, but either people are quiet or I'm just getting it first. If you know what i...

It's part of the Comfort pack plus option, fitted as standard in Family, Max and Tour models, it was also in the 1st edition. https://www.volkswagen.co.uk/files/live/sites/vwuk/files/pdf/Brochures/id-3-brochure-pricelist-p11d.pdf suggests that it is part of the Comfort pack, which is part of Life. ...

Note, I think it was a refund down to £1000. So if you paid £1000 for it, you wouldn't be entitled to one.

Re: ID3 servicing.......... simply explained
I wrote to the dealer "I keep seeing £199 offers on the forum, can I get that offer" and the servicing department sent me a special link that reduced the price.
