Re: 10-inch screen to 12-inch screen
I have MY23 with both upgraded interior and upgraded entertainment. UK doesn't get a bigger screen.Mister MMT wrote: ↑Sat Jan 14, 2023 7:11 pm But yes, the so-called my22.5 versions get the ID4 or Cupra Born 12" screen, provided they ordered an upgraded interior. Not sure how that works in GB.

Re: my23 Family Pro Spec

She does not alter the settings on her phone ,yet quite often settings such as background and light colours change from how i set it. Also V2X permission is...

Re: Delivery time
Could anyone post a picture of the interior of a Life model been delivered recently please? Do they come with fabric seats? Are they fitted with side sensors? A late 22 or early 22 ordered life? The new seats and side sensors were not a free upgrade. You needed to have ordered a late 22 life to hav...

It isn't in "Show standard equipment" (but "Electric auxiliary air heater" is), so it doesn't look like it is.

Re: Yellow tortoise light Red Tortoise light
Did you notice what your blue bar was doing during all this? When I hit 15%, I noticed that my range went up quite dramatically (so a yellow battery, but no tortoise). I suspect that you have less power available, so your 0-60 would be closer to 15-20 seconds, but the power is there to keep you movi...

Re: V3.2 software.
The new software frequently tells me that there are changes to my settings to implement. Pressing the cancel button makes the message go away but only for a minute or so, very annoying, It doesn't tell you what changes it's making but so far it seems to be turning the mirror dipping in reverse func...

Re: Wall charger & power supplier recommendations - March 2023
If you don't have solar and batteries, then it would be worth knowing what your daytime vs charging electricity needs are. You need to be using the car quite a lot for the 10p night rate to counter the 40-50p day rate.-

The hints and tips PDF in another thread says If you had the update message but it has then disappeared advice from a posting in the Drivers club is to: - Sit in the car, wait for 60 seconds then start the car. - Leave for another 60 seconds and switch the car off at the column, it’ll prompt to upda...

Re: How to defrost....
Air conditioning now has the engine off. It's mostly used to keep your passenger, children or pets warm/cold while you leave the car. Start engine turns everything on as you would expect including the full menu system.

Re: Your experience of reducing power and regen at low temperature?
That's what I see on 3.2. I've been making the presumption that this is the natural outcome of not warming the battery to perfect conditions after 2.4 (i.e. the range in winter is increased because the first 10 minutes of each journey used to warm the battery a lot).

Re: WeConnect network outage - again
Still nothing. The only way to defrost the car seems to be to set A/C to start following unlock, then unlock it and leave the key in the car. Otherwise it will lock itself again in a short time. This is really not great. See the how to defrost thread https://www.id3forums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=8&am...

I'm all up for this, but would also like to share that the ID3 UK Owners facebook have a constantly updated document here - https://www.facebook.com/groups/1678376 ... 9948701007. In case new members want a "cut out and keep" document.

Re: How to defrost....
You can pull one of the fuses (don't be sat in either seat and look up further instructions) You can remove the negative terminal from the battery However, for what you have described, you are look for the "air condition now" toggle when you turn off the car. That will leave the air condit...
