Hi everyone.
Just wondering if anyone knew how long the breakdown cover is on the ID 3 1st edition . Ours is coming up to a year old at the weekend.
Can't remember the sales people saying, and servicing is every 2 years ?
Thanks

Re: Ionity @ Leeds Skelton services
I wish there were some Ionity chargers in the Midlands. The ones on the M1 are rubbish , only 1 or 2 chargers

Re: Noise from rear of cabin
We had a rattle coming from the rear.it was the latch for the rear seat. Metal to metal. Only happened on rough roads Solved it with a bit of tape wrapped around the latch. Not sure if you have the same noise ?

Re: Boot liner?
I'm still trying to work out which one it is amongst the ID.3 accessories! It's really annoying that they don't have pictures! https://www.volkswagen.co.uk/owners-and-drivers/accessories-and-merchandise/accessories From the Accessories PDF. Hope this helps! Hi I am considering if it's worth buying ...

Re: Long-distance Public Charging network experience
Ecotricity have just opened their first High Powered Charging site at New Rugby services M6 Junction 1. There's 12 CCS. Which sounds quite a lot when they have only seem to have 2 ? on the motorways. But if we are all moving to electric cars that's not many. I wont be using the Rugby ones - its not ...

Re: ACC speeding/breaking
I was doing 70 on the southbound M1 in Leicestershire with ACC set at 70 , it then near East Midlands airport said 40 mph detected and braked down to 40. The sat Nav said 40. There were no road works or anything . I quickly cancelled ACC , it didn't change from 40 until I took the slip road at markf...

Re: Pod Point now support scheduled charging!
I've tried 3 times to use the pod point app scheduler, and it's failed to start charging on all 3. I've set the scheduler up and saved it before plugging the cable in. Got a green light on pp. Cancelled delayed charge on the ID3. Have reported it to pod point yesterday, awaiting reply. Back to ID3 c...

Re: we connect outage
Since yesterday - I am getting 1) in the car unable to display connect status on first start up sequence 2) the We Charge app is not updating the status of the battery - yet I just managed to start it charging from the app. Hopefully, it goes in tomorrow for update 2.1 , and the floor covering recal...

Re: Timing a Charge
I have just gone out to set the car up for a delayed charge after midnight, and well it's lost the saved location . Tried to set it up again but it still won't display as set up ! The funny thing is I've plugged the cable in and it's flashing green on the charging flap to say it's waiting for the ti...

Re: Timing a Charge
There seems to be a lot of folks with the same delayed charging issue. I have been trying since the last software update (783 - January ) to get the delayed charge to work - I thought I had cracked it last time with putting a departure time and preferred start time into the car program. However, alt...

Re: Home Charging- using location
Hi Tried again to charge the car last night using delayed timing by location. All good for to start with - flashing green light on the car charging flap, expected it to come on at 5 past midnight . At 22:30 I noticed the smart meter was showing red - the car had decided to start charging !!! I let i...

Re: Delayed charging
Hi, I had/ have similar problems with delayed charging. I was only getting around 70%. Pod point checked the wall box , and everything seems ok there . They did mention it would reduce the charge if anything else was using it. But at midnight I don't think so, and to make sure the cable was in prope...

Re: Yet another error - can’t display distance
We had this problem , as well as SOS error , the dealer ended up ordering and fitting a new control unit . Seems to have solved the problem . ( New control unit 1 week to order and fit, VW supplied a hire car .)

Re: Home Charging- using location
A simple question: why is the charge point's location relevant? With the last software update 783 , it gave us the ability to set up delayed charging using Location setting ..... (Under vechicle Menu ) And cheap electricity during the night. No one said it's not available in the UK. Re the Wecharge...

Re: Home Charging- using location
Part success with charging by location. I set the departure time as 04:30 and preferred times as 0:05 till 04:30. It worked , part success as it charged up to 100%. I thought everything was set at 80%. Oh well another week before I can try again. Very few miles in lockdown. I will take photos of all...

Scott - to answer your question about my delayed charging options - I left the departure times empty.
I only set the preferred start and finish times .

Home Charging- using location
Hi When I charge at home using the ID3 location software in the car - from Midnight until 05:00 (cheap rate BG) charging from say 60 % to 80 % I only manage to get around 71 % charge. (3rd or 4th charge now) I have a pod point wall box - and they say everything is Ok - I got up at midnight the other...
