Re: Delivery time

I took delivery of my Family Pro today after ordering in Nov 21 and the last heard it was going to be Mid Feb 23 delivery until I got a phone call last week to arrange delivery. Now just need to figure it all out as the poor excuse for a manual supplied tells you nothing. First impressions are good...

Unreal!
I'm expecting a call simply because I sent a complaint to Arnold Clark since vw don't take responsibility and refer you to the dealership.

I actually rue the day I dealt with vw.

Re: New VW line up for 23/24

Yep definitely would be nice to have our cars.

If VW wasn't such a shitshow I might have watched the video 😁

Re: Delivery time

It's gone a bit quiet in here, i guess vw have delivered their quota for the year. 👀 Don't say that! Mine was allegedly being built when the guy from the lease company called last week (as VW had ran out of East Derry's) to confirm the swap. I'm just hoping I do get the upgraded single spec...

Re: Delivery time

Haha looks like it... I'm on the periphery of cancelling my Max Order and jumping on the cheap(for a Tesla right now) model Y deals that are out there. As I know it'll arrive between now and march... Apart from costing me £100 more a month than my Id.3 will if it ever arrives can anyone talk me out...

Re: Delivery time

My garage have been telling me to expect the car in Feb/Mar. They rang today to say the 18" East Derry wheels I ordered were out of stock, and offered me 19" Andoya for no extra charge, which I accepted. Haven't seen anyone else on here with this happening. Jeez, what are they blaming thi...

Re: Delivery time

Fingers crossed mate. I haven't heard anything about my Max. Me neither. On another note, the id5 is on the motability scheme. You couldn't make it up. My motability max is reporting as week 12, last update the 6/1/23. You couldn’t write this fiasco if you’d have tried! Also saw the iD5 on the sche...

Re: Max and Tour

Definitely promising, but with how things have gone so far, i'm not sure i'd wanna hold my breath just yet, at least not until they actually start moving through the factory. I agree with this. My dealership (Arnold clark) had their systems breached just before xmas and have been down since, so I'm...

I haven't used the app in long enough and I remember it being woeful. I've never had an issue with the rfid card though 👍
That is good to hear.
It's like night and day mate. I'm glad your card has arrived and you shouldn't need to use the app any more.

Re: Charge place Scotland

We used 2 CPS fast chargers in December, one in Jedburgh and one at Heriot Watt University near Curry. I thought the charges were very reasonable indeed, the only issue I had was using the app. I had signed up 3 weeks before our trip and ordered an rfid card which the website said would arrive in 1...

Re: Charge place Scotland

Yeah the £30 charge is a bit steep compared to other councils charging as little as a fiver or nothing at all. On the flip side, I'd guess the rapid chargers will be more available at my local one as they seem to be hogged by people who charge their car then jump on the train to Glasgow and Edinburg...

Re: Charge place Scotland

Prices for North Lanarkshire - North Lanarkshire Council – AC Charging Points – £0.27p per kWh. Rapid Charging Points – £0.40p per kW with a £30 overstay after 60 minutes. I have no idea if these prices are decent or not as I've never paid for charging other than at my house. The AC prices are sligh...
