Abnormal wear
I took my 2 year old (10000 miles) ID.3 in for its first service on Friday and when I went to collect it they said no issues found but they advised me that the front discs and pads are down to 50% and although not an issue at the moment, would need to be monitored. This came as bit of a suprise to m...

Re: What Lays Ahead?
I have just reached my two year aniversity of owning an ID.3, in the two years I have had zero issues except replacing 5 tyres, which maybe down to being unlucky. It has been a great, comfortable, fast car to own and drive and do not really regret buying one. Would I buy another? probably not as I f...

Re: WeConnect app shows blank-ish screens
This is not an app problem (despite the buggy nature of the app and despite WeConnect telling you to reinstall it). It's a vehicle/server issue. My car is still unable to load connection status so it's offline, and the app can't get access to it. Apparently you can remove and replace fuse 19 to fix...

Re: Bridgestone Turanza tyres and punctures.
I have had in 5000 miles, 3 rear tyres and 2 front tyres, I have never been so nervous about driving conditions as I am with the ID.3. I now avoid certain roads that I know are punishing on car tyres, I too have Derry Wheels not steel. The tyre deflation warning apparently works off the ABS not tyre...

Re: Cable storage - boot
I have a round charging bag big enough to hold two cables, I hook onto the left side storage hook and have a hooked Bundy cable stretched between two hooks, works well.

Re: Software 2.4 rollout delayed
I know people get excited about software updates, I'm the same, but I would rather wait and have a reliable update than have issues. A software problem with a car would be a lot worse than a buggy mobile phone or PC misbehaving, let them get it right so we do not have a two ton paper weight sitting ...

Re: Not connecting to internet
This happens all the time. Easiest solution is to remove the third 5amp fuse in the second column of the fuse box in the glove box. Lock the car, wait ten minutes, reinsert it it lock the car wait another ten minutes. All will then work. One word of caution learnt from experimce. Do not remove the ...

Re: Tyre inflating via 12v socket
Plug seat belt in, keys on seat and press the start button, I know I have had 3 new tyres in 5000 miles, also the pump will reach the front tyres if you go through the inside of the car.

Park Assist
Watch a video on the new memory parking that is coming with the version 3.0 software and they said it will only work with ID.3's that have the parking sensors on the side as well as the front and rear, does anyone know what models this covers or was it only the first edition that did not have them. ...

Re: Hyundai IONQ5
I have driven the IONQ5 for a short journey and it feels well built and looks great but would I swap it for my car, I think probably not, for my needs living in Birmingham the ID.3 is near perfect and after 12 months I still enjoy driving it.

Re: What colour have you ordered?
Turquoise for me. Wanted something that would stand out. Was tempted to change to red when that became an option but I didn't want to risk anything on the order front plus my current is red so always nice to have a change. Edit: Ooops, didn't see the poll when I typed my reply  We went for th...

To add a widget to you main screen, long press on screen until icons wobble, press + sign in top left had corner and it will display the widgets you can add to your screen.
You can choose to add it as a stand alone widget or you can add a stack widget and add it to the stack.

Connect the driver seat belt and press starter button and the rear power point will be live, I have had to do it a number of times.
