Parking Brake warning light

Hi there, I've had my ID3 for a week and having such a techy car is a very new experience, so I might be doing something stupid but hope you can help! When I've parked, pressed the 'P' button and locked the vehicle, the parking brake warning light is still showing on the digital instrument cluster i...

Re: Wow and Hello and a little help please!

Thank you, that’s solved it! Thanks for telling me what VW haven’t! Unfortunately I can’t get the infotainment system to give me a QR code but I’m definitely further along than I was!

'Reduce charging current' option

Hi there, I notice that on the charging menu there is an option to reduce the current. Just wondering if this option needs to be on in normal domestic circumstances? In the manual it says that you may wish to reduce the current 'if several large electrical consumers are operated simultaneously via t...

Re: Wow and Hello and a little help please!

Hi there, I’m experiencing exactly the same problem. I contacted VW and they said that I may have being trying to register when they had ‘unplanned outages’ but I expect it’s because I don’t have strong signal when the car is parked up at home - only one bar. I plan to try again when I’m somewhere w...

Re: Fault after update 2.0

Congratulations (though of course the car should have been right first time). Good news for me too - after a six week wait, the car is being fixed tomorrow and I’m getting some expensive accessories thrown in. To be honest I’m ok with the wait - having gone a couple of decades without a car I can wa...

Re: Fault after update 2.0

Sounds similar to my situation, I bought a pre-reg business pro 5 weeks ago and have not yet received it. I asked for the update to be done before receiving the car, and was told that while completing the update a fault has developed, and the module needed is on back order with VW, with no date give...

Re: Home charger now installed

Hi there,

I'd be really interested to hear if any issues with the zappi charger have been resolved with the new software update. I have just put a deposit down on an id3 and was planning to get a zappi charger because I have solar panels.

New Business Pro Owner

Hi there,

I've just put a deposit down on a pre-reg Business Pro Performance and looking forward to collection. It's my first ever car, having learnt later in life, so I will probably have lots of silly questions to ask. Chris from 'Battery Life' on Youtube has been my advisor so far!
