Hi, I’m thinking in buying a VW ID3, and have a company in my town that have a id3 with small damage on the right front door, and the right seat have the airbag open.

The car don’t start, it might be because of airbag seat open, or might be a problem not related with airbags?

Thank you so much

Is this a salvage car you are thinking of buying?
What do mean by the car doesn't STOP or START?
Its a non runner?
Its hard enough to get cars with problems fixed under warranty.
It all sounds very odd.

I mean the car don’t start . It’s a salvage with a little damage on front right door and seat airbag

I have dabbled way back with salvage cars but avoided anything with air bags activated.
As said. Very odd a car like this with minimal damage written off as salvage.

Id3 with airbag open usually don’t start? Or not necessary ?

I would suggest that if you are coming on a forum such as this asking these questions you should not be even looking at buying a car in this state.
There are a number of procedures that should be followed when recovering an EV to isolate battery etc..

Also true. The battery is 400 volt 3 phase.
Any shock is likely fatal with 3 phase power.

The battery is not 400v 3 phase. Its DC which is likely to be even more deadly. The voltage depends on the model with the 82kWh models having a voltage of around 408 volts and the lower capacity models being lower due to less battery cells. I’d imagine the HV safety cutout has been activated during the impact the car sustained and its cut all HV power.
