Hi there,

ID3 First Edition owner for just over a week, alongside the alarm issue, we're experiencing a more alarming issue... Plugged the vehicle into a neighbours 7KW wall charger he uses to charger his Tesla. Upon plugging in it initially started fine, followed by a warning saying "emergency charging only available". I unplugged and re plugged the charger into the vehicle and charging appeared to be ok. I returned to the vehicle after 5hours only to.find it hadn't charged at all. Has anyone ever experienced something similar? Managed to successfully charge at the local Waitrose and the VW dealer, but other than that we've always experienced issues initiating the charge. Any ideas of what could cause this? Cheers
Neil

Did the LED on the charging port change colour during this? Sometimes it has been known to flash red and green when the type 2 connector is not fully seated/locked and some folks have removed the ccs port cover to connect better.
