The dealership have now had my ID3 since Thursday morning. They have had difficulty loading the software and only one computer to do it with. (Possibly the largest VW dealer in London.)

I have just collected the car to discover that the heater no longer works. I turned straight round and they have just told me that other ID3 owners getting the y update have also had this trouble!

I am leaving it here and hoping they can sort it out!

I’m not having any heater issues (0783 / v2.0), apart from ‘warm hands’ blowing out the wrong side.

They needed an additional software patch. I had to wait a further 24 hours, but all good now.

Useful to know, my car has been partially updated, at which dealer suggested I could take it back, I suspected a partial update may give issues like you saw.
