WeConnect ID - more than one driver?

Trying to set up WeConnect ID app on my wife's phone. Went through the whole process and scanned the QR code in the car. Bingo, it works! BUT.....now I've been kicked off and I can't reconnect. So does the app only work for one driver? Or is there a work around?

You can only have one account on it so both phones need to be set up identically.

Answered you on Facebook, but posting here for others:

Multiple instances of the app have to be logged in with the same VW account in order for those app instances to manage the same car.

This should hopefully change.

Thanks for this, I was having the same trouble, when I set it up for my wife it booted me out. Sorted now with both using the same e-mail address as suggested. Many Thanks
