Tyres and windscreens

Waiting for my Family to be built. Wondered how many of you have suffered from windsceen cracks and tyre failures. The Facebook pages seem to mention these often and I just wondered how common they are.

I haven't seen any cracked screen posts in the 6 months I have been here. One or two punctures/new tires.

Windscreen crack within 2 weeks of ownership last October, but definitely due to an object impact.

No problems with tyres, I haven't even kerbed an alloy yet...

I had a very small pebble crack my windscreen on Sunday along the M40.
