Yup, the small update last week was about 40 mins to install, and like you say, the small one this morning was well under a minute. The 6Gb update which then followed took 3 hours to download. My signal strength indicator was only showing 2 bars of 4G.

If you've seen the YouTube videos, today's little update wasn't either of those.

I thought the roll out was to 1st Editions (1st movers ) first? Are others that have non 1st Editions seeing this as I have never seen an OTA update offered of any form.

Got in car today to see infontanment had a message saying update is available. I'd previously read CarterHounslow so I updated immediately. It took a few seconds. I assume the larger update will arrive soon. It seemed seamless. There was a warning that said the update would be paused if I left the car. Not exact wording.
Carter Hounslow, I also have a notification for the update, it is shown as a number next to the 4G globe, tap it to read. Hopefully this will help you find the update.

The proper 2-part update? Software version now showing as 0910?

I don't believe today's tiny update was the actual 2.3 rollout, more likely a tweak to the OTA update process ahead of the wider rollout.

2.3 is supposedly First Movers to begin with (not all 1st Edition cars), then everyone else regardless of the car spec.

Your car is on 2.1 right?

I think it's coincidence that this happened to yours today while loads of other cars were getting the tiny update.

Curiously, it did the mini update after the installation. I’d post a pic but can’t seem to find the way to do this. 🤷🏼‍♂️

If you hit "post reply" before typing anything in the quick reply box or hit the "full editor & preview" button, you get all the formatting icons and also an "attachments" tab below the text box, which is where you can attach photos - based using other forums, haven't attached a photo on this one yet :)

I'm only getting the usual Internet radio not available. Could it have installed while I was out of the car? I've driven the car four times since this morning and nothing.

I received a message when driving earlier that my update was ready and did I want to install. I declined as where I was driving meant I was stopping for an hour, then a second stop for an hour before returning home. As I understand it the update begins when you stop and park the car after you’ve accepted the update and you’re unable to drive until it’s complete, which wouldn’t have been suitable for me today. However that’s because I was assuming it was the big update and now reading this I’m guessing it was a small one and o should have just said yes to it.

I’m not seeing anything in the notification centre and nothing in updates. Attached the system info.

Same here. I'm assuming it didn't do the update since I didn't OK it but not 100% convinced!

Does anyone know whether the Software: revision is affected and what it should be after these updates?

Cheers, Peter.

I'm seeing:

Software: 0792
Display unit/control panel software: 3078

Really ought to keep a record of these numbers!

The update that seems to have been made available to ALL cars in the last 24 hours is NOT 2.3.

2.3 is software version 0910, but that won't be shown on the car until BOTH parts of that update have been installed - the first part takes 30 minutes to install, the second part 3 hours.

Wife says she saw a message about an update when she switched on this morning, but ignored it and drove to work. Just been out to have a look, no evidence of an update so I guess it will come up again at some point. No way of checking for updates like a phone eh 🤷‍♂️
