Both of my screens are not working so I can't even tell what speed I'm going, it only tells me which gear I'm in.
I've switched it off and on again - will it sort itself out or do I need to do something?

That's never happened to me but in the words of the IT Crowd "Have tried turning it of and on again" is the best solution. Just make sure you lock it and leave it for ten mins or so. Also it maybe worth holding down the start button for 20-30 seconds to see if that reboots it. Good luck

Switch off. Lock up. Walk away so the key is out of range and leave for ten min or so then try.

I had this on my 2018 Polo GTI+, and a software update was required at the dealership - as per OP, both screens affected.
