Can anyone tell me what the on the road price was before the government £3000 was applied so i can tell if i got the discount or not

I don’t like answering a question with questions, but when did you place the order for the car and how did you pay for it?

1st edition on the road list price with standard paint was £38190 + £635 delivery

I paid £38880 so perhaps i might qualify, ordered October delivered November

But was it cash, lease, or PCP? (This will determine the amount of any goodwill payment they offer you)

Sounds like you should open a case with VW UK, contact their customer services or drop an email to executive.office@volkswagen.co.uk

Good news ,was contacted by VW today and I'm getting a refund , thanks to scott22tt for the info and Email link

Since these issues are not resolved VW should refund all people buying the car even now, not just first edition - dream on

The goodwill payments relate purely to those who paid full price prior to discounts kicking in, nothing at all to do with the car.

Just got mine and it’s in my bank. I contacted the executive office and asked what it was all about, they checked and came back to me saying they would contact my dealer and for me to phone them to confirm my ID.3 first Edition that I picked up last September, one of the 5 that was first allocated to all dealers.
