Charge boost with timed charging set

Can anyone advise on how to instigate a boost charge when timed charging is set ?

We have ours set for a night charge utilising tge octopus go and working all ok

Today we needed to top up charge while away ftom home on a rapid but can’t see how to overide the timed setting

Tried turning all the timing settings off but still refused
Going to be a very gentle run to get home!!

Probably something very simple we are missing here!

I thought timed charging was location based?

What was the rapid? What happened on the car when you tried?

We tried In a shell GeniePoint snd gave used before but stubbornly refused to charge
Unfortunately not in the car when she tried but said first white indicator then afte disconnecting and reconnecting went red

Assuming location based (and excuse my lack of knowledge!) if you plug in anywhere else other than home (location set on screen)it should charge immediately?

You go into Locations to setup timed charging in the car, so I don’t think your issue today relates to anything you’ve got set for your home.

Ok thanks will have to try at another location and see if it takes a charge ok

Could have been the charger itself!!

Typical plays up with my wife who is having a love hate relationship with it!!

The one time my wife had to public charge when on her own so far, the Shell charge point needed a reset by the garage staff before it would work - it has put her off using the car unless she knows there’s easily enough to get home.

We have had all the usual issues and faith has been lost a lot in the car ! She loves the way it drives etc but so many little irritations spoiling the experience!!

Hopefully it charges ok at her usual workplace tomorrow!

Thus isn’t set up as a charge location and she won’t want to learn how to do that!, so hopefully just connects !
