Interesting - if there's any pattern then that might suggest I'll hear my build has gone from September to January!PabloMolina wrote: ↑Thu Aug 11, 2022 7:04 pm After 6 months without any news from the dealer I got a call today. This is what I don't understand. I ordered mine 5 weeks before (Sep) and order confirmed with number on 30 Sep. My car is of similar spec -family pro, stonewash blue, east derry...but my build week is 44 (Nov). The only other explanation I can think of is that dealers who perform poorly are fighting for scraps at the bottom and Heritage Bristol must be one of themmastacar1 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 11, 2022 10:29 am Hi everyone,
I've been lurking for a while and following this thread and joined just to say that I ordered my Family Pro Performance in Moonstone Grey with East Derry alloys on November 4th 2021. My car was originally due in April, but that got pushed and pushed, finally to September. I was then notified that the car had been assigned a build week (1st week of July) and that it would be with me in the first half of August. I was excited, but still apprehensive; I've had build weeks pushed before with other cars (Audi A6).
Anyway, long story short, the car was indeed built in the first week of July (end of June actually) and is now at the dealership for home delivery this coming Monday. I'll post again once it's delivered to confirm the trim details etc., I've noticed that cars built after May have the 'new' seat trim, which would be lovely, as I really wasn't a fan of the original.

I don't know the actual dealership involved and I've done everything via email with the leasing provider / broker. The finance provider is Lex Autolease.Klaus wrote: ↑Thu Aug 11, 2022 9:03 pmThis is what I don't understand. I ordered mine 5 weeks before (Sep) and order confirmed with number on 30 Sep. Interesting, I ordered the exact same car back in October last year, was due April then pushed to December then i was told October. It's through Lex Autolease as well but it's arranged by the vechile management team in our work so i've not really had any dealings with them, i've got the order info though so i might just give them wee buzz.

Comms has been pretty good from the leasing provider and they've been responsive to me when I have asked for info. They provided screenshots of conversations with the dealer too. But the whole process of leasing a car online without ever actually seeing someone is vastly different to the experiences I've had where I've bought straight from a dealer (5 or so cars for me, 4 cars for my wife).

Just got the bad news from my dealer
‘Hi Jason,
All well here thank you I hope the same for you.
Your car has just been given a proviosnal build week of 14 in 2023 (April), as you know this is liable to change but I will keep you posted.
Yes your car had the grant applied for therefore VW are honouring it.
I am off for a couple of weeks but will check again on my return.
John.’
So look like June next year, 21 months from ordering!

Its not until week 5 2023 (its already slipped from week 2, which it was last month just i didnt know) But still I have a build week, which is pretty much 1 year on the nose after I ordered it. I really hope it does not slip again and i have it for the March 23 plate and a staycation i have planned for South Wales at end March
