Order 3153XXXX
4th Nov 2021
Family Pro
Delivery expected April 2022 😂😂
Inchcape via Tusker company scheme

I’ve contacted Inchcape twice. First time after ordering told to expect an update in Jan. Contacted in Jan told no info likely until March when build date will be firmed up (or not) for April delivery.
Interesting. My Tusker order went in about a month earlier, but has gone from late March to late May as the estimated delivery to dealer recently. (No reply to the email that I sent to Marshall's about it so far...)
Family PP (Turquoise with East Derry alloys)
Ordered Oct '21 (Tusker/Marshall Fleet)
Built '22 wk33, delivered wk41

Zappi 7kW Black tethered
4.5kWp solar with 7.5kWh battery

Just been given update on our Life Pro order today. Ordered early Nov 21 with initial delivery Mar 22. Effectively been in waitlist for factory build date confirmation which now shows 31st Oct - 6th Nov 22. The VW dealer sounded as depressed as I am. Currently suggesting into 2023 for new ID3 orders and that they're still taking them without deposit which I guess is effectively kind of like a waitlist. I guess since we'll need to replace the other car in a couple of years I should get into the queue for that one soon too! Have to laugh that got the charge point installed this week.

My dealer told me today that the factory is running a manual review process for all cars post build week 51 last year due to the MY22.5 changes. There are apparently 1500 orders to be reviewed and until they've completed the review nobody really has a clue what will get built when. This is the cause of the delays and confusion over build dates. Make of that what you will. They said they'd phoned the factory to get this info.

All ID4's use the 77kWh pack as standard, as does the Skoda Enyaq

Which might well be the problem, if VW are focusing on shipping ID.4's generally rather than ID.3 Tours specifically.

Just got an update on my order.

I hope you are well. I wanted to email you to let you know that your current vehicle order is delayed and this is due to there not being an allocated build slot as of yet for your vehicle.

We are now looking at around July 2022 for the estimated delivery date
.

Delivery date has slipped from February to March, then to May and now July. I'm concerned for June, it didn't even have a chance at being a potential delivery month.

I had similar from my dealer. They explained that they have no idea on delivery at the moment and that the revised date they gave me is purely based on the current lead-time. They said the date could well be shorter but they need VW to sort their scheduling out.

My first thought was "that's a clever way of making their £40,000 cars have the 'great price' tag".
There are apparently 1500 orders to be reviewed
That's less than 48 hours worth of cars through the factory floor. If true, I'd expect that number to be far far higher than that.

Saw over on SpeakEV that Enyaq's are already 12 months plus, and they aren't built in Zwickau.

Whole thing looks like an ongoing shirtshow!

Hi. New member here looking to get my car added to the tracker.

I ordered a Max in white on 29th November from Plan Car Leasing, but it a car that had already been ordered so I assume it was a cancelled order.
Estimated delivery is end of February, and the order number is 31400xxx
Lease company have told me that "The car went into build at the start of November and is currently held at the factory awaiting final components"...
