I've finally got my order number 31528xxx and have been given a guesstimate of end-June 2022 for delivery but was advised at the time of purchase that delivery would be 8-12 months from order date.

Can you add me to your spreadsheet, Utumno?

My 20 year old Honda Civic has just scraped through its MOT so needs to hang on a little bit longer yet.

Done! Thanks for the details!

Ah okay so this is happening to quite a few people. Our current status is also 00 and not showing a scheduled build week yet.

I have to say that if VW does this to us - and I think there's every chance they will do (or have done, and our dealer isn't telling us) - they're going to be losing our business to Tesla and screw the additional vast expense. There's only so much SWMBO earache I can take and our situation is that we now can't prat about without firm delivery dates past early February.
If this happens to your order I imagine we're all screwed! There's only a few w40 orders yet to leave the factory according to the sheet, I'd hope yours is due on a boat soon. Or as has already been mentioned it might be in the UK already and your dealer has no idea ;)

We can only hope. I can absolutely concur with the view that our dealer has no idea 😂.

It has previously done a vehicle drop in Sheerness before, on the 26th, which was some 4 days after it had arrived in Emden. I would hazard a guess that anyone using a dealer in the South will be via that vessel, and so it could be the 12th before anything arrives in the UK from Emden.

Assuming there's not another ship en-route, which I can't see that there is.

To add further, Parana previous arrived in Sheerness Nov 26, 13:40 and departed Nov 26, 23:19, with 'fixit' announcing on his post on Nov 27, around 11am (viewtopic.php?p=15135#p15135) that his was status 40, in the UK. Would suggest that 'fixit' is in the South, or used a southern dealer?

I anticipate then that anyone whose car is on that ship to Sheerness would potentially know about it on the 13th?
Keep your eye on the Danube Highway, its possibly heading for Sheerness. If not Sheerness I would guess Dublin.

Thinking about the various delays, status changes and MY22.5 it makes me wonder whether there are changes included in 22.5 that are specifically targeting the component shortages, through circuit board revision levels etc. I know Tesla already did this - they are able to drop changes into production smoothly but I doubt VW can do the same without a "clear down" of work in progress on the lines.

I'd discounted it based on the fact that it appears to be doing hops between Scandinavia and germany, whereas Parana have previously done the Sheerness hop.

Both will probably be docked until Saturday now anyway.

With WFH measures being reintroduced, does anybody know how this will effect vehicle deliveries? I’d assume ports will be allowed to carry on as normal, but what about dealers?
Not being able to collect my car due to COVID will be just the kick in the pants I’ve come to expect at this point!

Not strictly true...

...it'll allow them to justify launching the keys at you from a distance and suggesting you locate it in the far corner of the lot on collection

Collection will be fine - they’ll just call it a “Cheese & Wine business meeting”…

Was googling for id3 delivery times and found this forum so thought I would join and add my order to the list :-)

Ordered October 4th 2021
VW dealer Kings Lynn, Marriott Motor Group
No order number given, dealer said the factory has accepted the order, dealers delivery estimate was March 2022
I get an email every 3 weeks from the dealer saying "No update from VW" though I asked them to chase and they basically told me to contact VW myself... Dealer says they are expecting an update from VW Q4 2021

And you ordered in July?

This is what infuriates people I think.

My dealer is STILL suggesting a Jan 22 delivery date is possible for us, ( but as per usual they don’t want to put anything on paper) despite our order going in Sept 2021 and not having a confirmed build date.

They need to manage peoples expectations a lot better.
