cornbutter wrote: Thu May 19, 2022 6:27 pm Brilliant news @Busman, looking forward to seeing a 221 reg and wondering if its you! Did the dealership do the whole bow on the car thing? Apparently a relative of mine got a Golf from the same dealership brand and they did that when he went to pick it up.
No bow ceremony.Scale Silver looks great with the black roof.A big surprise with the 3.0 software.Looks like from some of the tags that it went into production in February.

That's excellent. Was your car a cancellation? Just wondering given your order date.
No, it was a fresh order for dealer stock.

Forgive me, but I think your leasing organisation may have misled you there. With that order number and build week the factory order would have been placed in July 2021.

Wait, what? Which software update?

The cars that have 3.0 installed come with it pre-installed from the factory. I don't believe the dealer are doing any software updates unless they're talking about 2.4. If that's what they're referring to, then yours might be the first to get this!

New car day. It is finally here!

20220520_113800.jpg

It was driven from Crewe I think, and arrived with 10% battery remaining so I've plugged it in and think it's charging. I've managed to connect to the app easily enough.

Had a quick drive to drop the guy off at the train station (he has to go and pick one up from Colchester and drive it to Inverness this afternoon!) and it's lovely. Definitely worth the wait.

Will swap the wheel trims over when it stops raining!

Congrats!!! Looks really nice even with those trims.

Have you set it all up and connected to the app?

Yup, connecting it to the app was easy. Just scanned the QR code on the cars screen.

Work is getting in the way of me going out and playing with all the settings :(

And it has mats (although they are currently in the boot!)

Yep! If you’re on iOS there’s also a neat widget that shows current range and, if charging, how long left to charge. Might be on Android too.

So they just gave mats but didn’t put them in for you?

Mine will be coming from Crewe also - also a Max in white.

I assume it is a MY22 and on version 2.3 software?

Yes it's a MY22. I haven't checked the version yet but assume it is 2.3 software.

Oh and it has Continental tyres on which is good as I had read bad things about the Bridgestones

Great to see so many deliveries. It gives me hope mine will turn up one day. Any change of a few inside pics of the new interior?

And there are definitely signs that it has sat in a car park since December

Hi everyone, long time lurker here.
Finding the forum very useful. Interesting to see how delivery time is now the most popular topic by miles!
Just to throw my hat in, ordered Family spec last Sept through NHS Fleet salary sacrifice and been impossible to get any info from them until now.
Estimate delivery moved from Feb to May to now unknown as still on status 00. Just couple of questions although realise more speculation due to no info coming out of VW.
If (thats a big if) get a MY22.5 and software 3.0, does anyone know what will this might for the Family trim other than different seat fabric? Be great to have the 360 camera!
Also if whether the grant will still be honoured if delivery goes beyond 12 months.
Well done to Utumno for the spreadsheet trying to make sense of what seems very random! Feel free to add my details on.
Have considered cancelling order but nothing else similar without costing significantly more through lease, and was not keen on the Kona or Soul.
Also noted on the NHS fleet, they are no longer offering ID3s or 4s or the Ioniq 5, assume no orders being taken as they cant build them.
Away bigger things going on in the world but was looking forward to first move into EV world!
