Delivery time

Great to see you all getting good news!
I emailed my dealer yesterday for an update but no reply as yet.
Life pro performing spec. It didn’t even have a build week last month, fingers crossed for a build week???
Over 6 month now since I ordered.

order mine in october 4th told march 3rd then January 5th told build date week 17 so i thought its week 17 contacted vw weston super mare and had a reply now week 25

order a pro family 58kw with derry alloy and blue grey paint forgot name so long ago

Ive not even got a build week after over 6 month! Surely that’s not right is it?

Originally told mid March delivery, then Jun and now Sept

The dealer sent us an updated screenshot which now shows the VIN, I added the car to the web version of myVolkswagen (didn’t like it on the app). The graphic of the car doesn’t show the side sensors. Right colour and wheels.

I couldn’t find the original post for someone on here who said theirs did have the sensors and was potentially an MY22.5.

If this is a true indication, it seems these Tours really have been sitting around since last year, as they probably aren’t building two versions on the same production line. What we’ll get is the MY22 without the sensors for the new driver aids.

Long time lurker here, If you want to add my details to the spreadsheet to maybe help others out with timings that would be great,

I ordered a ID3 Family Pro Performance in Moonstone Grey and East Derry Alloys last August (2021) from Listers - Order # 31423***
It had an original unconfirmed build week of 49 2021 and then slipped to week 51 unconfirmed.

It finally got a confirmed Build week 11 back in February 2022 for a w/c 14th March 2022 build.

After comparing information from others this week on Utumno's spreadsheet of doom I was 90% certain it was built so I messaged dealer for a screenshot on order status.

He confirmed Its built, sat at docks in Emden awaiting transport to UK.

Credit to all you guys who have submitted information to be added as its given me a great overall picture of the fiasco that is the VW ID build process and helps others with comparing build dates etc,

Good luck to those still waiting, have hope you will get there in the end.

Do we think there is the potential that cars are going to be delivered without the kit they're supposed to have, or is this an anomaly because of the transition from MY22 to MY22.5?

If the build week started before 51, the old features are expected based on the information sent to dealers.

Unfortunately I have no idea,have asked on a few occasions but are they are unable to provide a realistic timescale,also the way Order Nos are allocated a build slot seems somewhat pot luck!

TBH I don’t. I like to get monies worth so having now spent cash on the old one I would be disappointed if the ID3 turns up too soon.

I also misjudged the pace of development of battery tech and also the increase in car prices. I only went for a 2.5 year lease thinking there would be far better and cheaper options available by the end of the lease. I’m not sure that is the reality so pushing my delivery later into the future doesn’t bother me too much. As long as my lease price remains as static as ordered and the old banger holds together.

Hi Guys

As a long time lurker I would like to add my details to your spreadsheet please. My order, for an ID3 Family Pro Performance in Makena Turquoise, was placed via Drive the Deal and confirmed on 07/10/21 with an order number of 31491***. When I placed my original order I was quoted a 21 week delivery date which had gone out to 26 weeks by the time I had all the formal information from the Main Dealer.

What has happened since is the same as for everyone else. My latest email from the Dealer on 18th March apologised for the fact that my order was still not showing a build date. Sadly so much so normal.

As a long time buyer of new VW products (3 VW and 2 Audi) plus the ID3, I am seriously unimpressed with their current performance. Delays can be understandable, especially in the current world situation of supply chain problems, but there is absolutely no excuse for the almost total lack of any meaningful communication.

BazNorth has just had the call - status 30, can you fu*king believe it!!!

As the closest to your order in terms of date, model and being a motorbility customer it surely means yours is coming as well.

They must have parked the cars against a wall and had to back them out in reverse order. Soon @uttumo!
