Charging cables

I have ordered a granny charger with my ID3.
Can anyone tell me if it and the standard type two cable that come with the car come with storage bags.
If they do are they the zipped bags or just lightweight draw string type.

The type 2 comes with a fairly decent weight drawstring bag. Don't know about the Grany as I don't have one.

I only have the type 2 charging lead and, for me, it's a decent drawstring bag. There's also a handy hook on the right hand side of the boot to hook it to and keep it out of the way.

My VW granny charger came in a cardboard box along with a fabric bag - like the one the tyoe2 lead came in.

Same here. Mine was stored in the tool section of the boot and fits well there.

I ordered a granny charger from amazon and very pleased. It has a nice and informative display on it, and you can switch the amount of current it draws directly on it, in case you need to use it with an electricity system that cant handle the maximum of 16a (mine is set to 13). I only bought it because the VW one was not available at the time, but very happy. BTW it came with a nice bag

Ohme granny charger (which includes a controller) comes in a strong fabric bag with carry handles. I used a length of self-interlocking Velcro strip (one side hook, one side loop) to make it easier to keep it in a coil for replacing in the bag.
