Optimism indeed, just been confirmed that my 6th November order still has no build week
Five months on Friday since I ordered and not a build date in sight
My ID3 Tour was ordered late August 2021. Still no build date.
Just playing with week numbers to fill the time. I see there is a Tour with a similar August order with a build delayed from week 50 2021 to week 17 2022 then week 22. Adding say 12 weeks for build to this plus 8 weeks for delivery gets me to the middle of October! I really hope this is wrong...
Tour Pro S 77kWh, heatpump, 19" Andoya wheels, Glacier White
Ordered 21.8.21
Order No: 314400**
Build week 24 unconfirmed
Delivery Q4 2022 delayed from Q1 2022
Cancelled order and replaced with in stock Kia EV6

Is this the new inside, or just the current one:

I think on balance it's most likely to be the current one. Reason being I am expecting that the "ASR OFF" button that's part of the interior refresh will appear in that bank of touch-sensitive buttons to the left of the steering wheel (most likely in the blank space in the middle of the bottom row, but that's just my guess)

Have to say though that kind of Twitter tomfoolery is only likely to annoy people who have one on order, as you can probably see from the Twitter replies to the original Tweet...

Tomfoolery is a polite word! Once I’ve driven back from the ski slopes end of February and put my personal number plate on retention I’ll be going on the offensive!

Agrée, this looks like the current model. Only thing I just read is that they are eliminating the model with the 45KWH battery. Only models with 58KWH and 77KWH will be available. Prices have been increased also.
No idea what that means for people who have ordered the smaller battery and have already got extended lead times.

Not seen, but looks much nicer than the existing trim! Can’t wait to see it in the flesh.

Any info on the original source for those ? They're probably promo shots from the VW Austrian website or something, but I just wonder where they originally popped up. I saw them posted on SpeakEV a day or so ago, but the OP on there didn't give an attribution.

They are both in the same carousel as the my22.5 seats above, so should be able to presume it's the same car.

At first glance there is nothing in those last two pictures that differs from MY22 apart from the seats. I thought 22.5 was supposed to have a new button to disengage ESC in winter too. I don't think that's it.

Doesn't look like there is any piano black around the centre console....

And "new premium material to dashboard, door cards and front console" seems missing? I can see the seats are the same as the configurator image but the rest looks basically the same before? Seats look great. Piano black in the Norwegian image but not in the German ones?

Did anything say it would be physical? I just presumed it would be in the menu like "turn off lane assist".

The original MY 22.5 posting on the Facebook Group by VW said "Winter driving mode via 'ASR Off' button" but don't know if this was written in English or German originally.

I assumed it was a physical button, as surely VW wouldn't be so boneheaded to not put a virtual button for it in 3.0 for everybody, and somehow software locked it to MY22.5. Imagine the horror of that on Twitter!

The MY22.5 image from Facebook seemed relatively clear to me that cars <MY22.5 wouldn't have the button, but it might just be a bad translation, or me reading too much into it 😀
